East and fast. The receptionist was courteous (a little aloof) and efficient. Loved it

We had to change rooms due to a tv malfunction but the staff was extremely helpful and friendly

Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Breakfast is rather “grab and go” type but enough for the kids. Enjoyed our one night stay.

No.just cereal and a few muffins does not

Honestly, it doesn't look like much from the outside (especially the flickering sign), but the rooms are pleasantly clean and comfortable and the price was right - and for us the location (South Ottawa) was good. I would definitely stay there again.

Classic, no frills motel style accommodation. Spotlessly clean, comfortable for the one night we stayed and the price can’t be beat. Would stay again, no question.

Nice quiet stay!

This is a quaint little motel. The most comfortable hotel bed I've had in 20 years. Desk staff were polite, quick and attentive. Requesting extra towels was a breeze. Very quiet neighbourhood, while still not being too far from whatever you need. The TV in our room (19) had terrible picture quality and should probably be replaced soon. Self-parking couldn't be easier. This will absolutely be my go-to hotel in Ottawa, no question.

I recently stayed at Rideau Heights in Ottawa and, unfortunately, my experience was not positive. I did not feel welcome during my stay, and although breakfast was clearly included in my booking, it was not provided to us. I booked with the expectation that the services listed would be honored. And the rooms were not so cleaned.

I had called to let them know I would arriving late We arrived nobody was in lobby. I range bell repeatedly but finally had to call the office before someone arrived. He was not at all apologetic. We were tired it was 12:30. He kept saying no worries. And I kept saying well maybe no.worries for him but the fact we had to wait was a problem for us! He didn't get it. The room we were given had.one bed yet I had requested 2. He then did give is another one. The room was clean and I'm certainly had everything we needed. By then it was 12:45. However the heater was so loud it actually impaired my sleep. So you either have heat or a constant noise. Also not enough warm blankets in bed. A very thin duvet and a.sheet and a very thin bed cover. Breakfast in the morning was fine. However my husband was still sleeping so left.froom to get a.coffee and cereal. There was nowhere to go - only to stand and thus I was told I couldn't stay in that area. Breakfast was offered at a good time 6-10 but by the time my husband went at 9 I think there was only limited choices. No more bananas or yogurt - and no more would be.put out! So it should read what the breakfast is on line but then state while supplies last. Of course it is an economical place - but approx 30 minutes out of central Ottawa -fir some.might be too far. I just think with a bit more attention ( maybe info on the heater about how to turn it off if you don't mind it cold or too hot) and better.customer service.

The room was very clean and the bed was great. Staff were very courteous. Breakfast was cereal, muffins, yogurt and fruit.

Could do with a better breakfast selection, like toast and butter or some oatmeal packets. Nice and kind staff!

The room was crystal clean. Things were all good.

Left too early

Room amenities were good except for the TV reception. First it was hard to turn it on, the remote did not power it up, i had to search to find the power button under the TV to turn it on (after that the remote would now turn it on and off. Second, the screen quality was very poor, full of snow as if there was a very poor antenna connection. Sorry I did not have time to discuss this TV issue with the staff. I was in room 17
