Travelodge by Wyndham Nanaimo

Property looking its age. Breakfast assortment poor. Our room looks as though it had been redecorated and was welcomed though age smell prevalent.

Its staff is great and it was clean and well kept. Coffee was actually really good. And the breakfast spread was lovely.

Straight forward stay, no complaints.

Property smells like animals take regular dumps in hallways. Stay away unless you are really short on money and need a place to crash.

This is an older hotel and showing it's age. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff were lovely.

We had a good stay here- staff were very friendly. Continental breakfast was appreciated. The surrounding area feels a bit rough and the hotel is quite dated. Pros of the room was that it was spacious, comfortable beds, and clean. Cons is that perhaps someone was smoking in a room connected to ours because everytime we turned on the fan in our bathroom it was overwhelming smell of smoke. Rooms Were quiet and insulated though so I like that. Definitely a 3 star hotel but I knew that going into it!

Personally it’s Building is very old . Beds are not comfortable.

We had two rooms and they were both smelly

Centrally located. The main roads had a lot of lights, by using the parallel roads, going north almost no lights and a slower drive got you away from the hustle bustle. The secondary roads also got you a direct drive to almost anything you needed to pickup. Older building but well maintained. Morning breakfast offered just the right amount to help you get on your way. The staff is courteous and polite and helpful with any questions. I would stay here again.

Could be better

Cozy room with a very comfy bed and spacious balcony. The bathroom is outdated and the tub stopper was just a chunk of disintegrating rubber but everything was clean and quiet.

Room was clean, staff was helpful and very friendly. Toast would be nice for breakfast. Very nice to see hard boiled eggs on the menu. I appreciate how close it is to the blues fest. We will see you next year👍😊

Location to the ferry was good. The decor felt old, needs updating.

Staff were lovely.

Check-in was great. The room was cosy but we managed. We haven't experienced the breakfast yet but was told they have bouled eggs, muffins etc. The facility has an elevator and is fairly close to the ferry landing (maybe a five minute drive).
