Clean-friendly staff, good breakfast

Tub in the room didn't drain when the shower ran no matter what we tried. Parking was very crowded. Very helpful staff when checking in. The overall condition was run down but clean.

Very comfortable room with a very good ocean view. Only had a few hours to enjoy the hotel will definitely book again if traveling to Nanaimo.

Noisy from the road and upstairs. Recommend bringing ear plugs for good night sleep.

Photos on website are outdated. The rooms are old, carpets feel dirty and air condition ling smells of mold. There is no sauna- it’s been closed since Covid and never reopened- despite it being depicted in their website.

Great location, walk to harbor and restaurants and downtown. Awesome and helpful staff. Appreciated the fresh fruit at breakfast

The building shows the age but our room was renovated and it was clean. The breakfast was a bit underwhelming. There was a good selection of fruits, muffins, etc, but the main item BREAD was really missing. Please add that as well.

La chambre et l’étage qu’on avait sentait très mauvais. La chambre semblait propre mais l’odeur était insupportable et les lits étaient doubles et non queen. Je n’avais pas remarqué lors de la réservation. Par contre, la localisation est parfaite.

Close to harbour amenities and sights. Clean room, parking easily accessible.

It's an old building but room was super clean and Cozy. Central location close to everywhere! We enjoyed our stay there!

Our tv wasn’t working. Called the front desk twice before someone came to help us with it. They simply need to update the tvs to more user friendly devices.

Friendly staff, breakfast was ok. Place needs some maintenance and upgrading.

This hotel is conveniently located close to the ferry terminal in Nanaimo and the highway north and west. There is free parking and an elevator to the third floor (only). The room is reasonably clean however the carpeting throughout our room and the common areas is old and in need of replacement. The bed linens are clean and fresh however the pillows are not comfortable. The best area of the hotel is the breakfast room. It is well stocked with a very good selection of food and lots of hot coffee and orange juice. There is a lovely, plant filled deck off the dining area. Our air conditioning unit stopped working and we reported this to staff. It was fix that day. This hotel is not fancy but a good base for exploring the Island.

Very run down and need of some renovations. The room was not clean especially the windows and the bathroom.

It was fine for our needs and the staff were exceptional, friendly and very helpful.

Breakfast is fine. Location is good. Lots of parking. Basic but good for price. Weird that the pictures advertise a sauna yet there is not one.
