Hotel Central

The shower heads were black from the lack of cleaning. The 3 star hotel really should be more of a 2 star. The rooms were dingy

Hotel was fine, great location to the station. Room had everything we needed only downside was the noise from outside, even with the window closed you can hear the station announcement and traffic etc. breakfast was good, kept been refilled and tables cleared quickly.

From the entrance, the staff was welcoming and professional.. the room was great. I liked how the bedroom was separate from a desk area. The WiFi was excellent. The room clean. My only problem was it was stuffy and the air con didn’t work too well. But that was all..the location is just across from the train station. As I was traveling out by train it was very convenient. It’s also not far from the bus station. Dont take the taxi, they will overcharge you. Call a Uber. None of that bs. There’s a small laundromat around the corner. Five euro per wash, 2 per 15 min dry. The city is fantastic. Too much to say, but it was All Saints Day so a lot was closed the weekend. Still plenty to do. Recommend you go to all the sites you can research, but especially the Museum of Broken Relationships. Also there is a supermarket the other side of the station in an underground area. Very good stuff— get the pistachio yogurt! Addicted! The breakfast at the hotel is plentiful and varied. Would recommend the hotel for that alone. They even served decaf coffee, a first I’ve experienced in Europe. There was ice, mustard, lots of good stuff. I’ve been traveling for a month and never saw any of that. I highly recommend this hotel. This about a 20- minute walk to the center of town, but you go through a beautiful park the entire way… or take the tram. Enjoy this place and the wonderful Zagreb!

as per reviews staff border on either bored or rude but they are not interested in smiling, engaging or anything at all just got our bags from storage, asked the guy about getting them and he pointed to a door - that was it breakfast exceptional and one standout young guy there that actually spoke and smiled and said “good morning” after reading reviews appears management are not interested in ensuring customer service is a priority which is a shame cleaning ladies were incredibly pleasant, maybe they should be on reception

Wonderful customer service from the whole team. Breakfast was delicious. Loved that our room was cleaned up daily. We loved it so much that on our way back home to NYC, we have a two day break, so we decided to book a room at Hotel Central.

Good breakfast Small room elevator goes to 4 floor and if you live on the 5th you have to walk the stairs. Rooms is much smaller than advertised

Close to everything (parks, restaurants, pubs and City attractions). Staffs are reliable, informative and friendly. Breakfest is Great.

The breakfast was very lovely. The hotel itself is not bad, but the 5th floor (which is where I was) does not have elevator (lift) access, so you have to go to 4th floor and then lug your belonging to the 5th floor. The room and the entire corridor smelled like cigarette smoke even though it clearly states everywhere in the hotel that it is non-smoking. The amenities in the room were perfectly fine and everything was working. Except for shower, lot of water spilled on the floor as there was no barrier. Water pressure was absolutely amazing and the drains worked really good too. Location itself, even though it is city center, it is quite far away from the main square on foot, be ready. It is across from the train station which is good location but if you are wanting to do things in and around the main square (which is where most attractions are), you might want to re-think unless you don't mind walking 17 minutes at the minimum.

My second time at Hotel Central and the staff service and room location is wonderful, breakfast buffet was great and service of the staff at restaurant is excellent!, Tibor from my first visit has been amazing arranging my advance booking on my second visit to my favorite room. I would definitely comeback. Keep it Guys for a job well done!
