Hotel Mayfair

The hotel is in an excellent central location. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and I was allowed to check in very early, which was greatly appreciated. The room was very clean, but extremely small. Mine was a single room with a “small double” bed. Because the room was so narrow, the bed was placed lengthways against the wall rather than in the usual position. At its narrowest point, there was only about 58 cm between the bed legs and the wall, which felt very tight. The bed legs were made of solid square posts with sharp edges, and I repeatedly scratched my leg while trying to pass through. It was quite painful (see photos). I have never stayed in a hotel of this rating with such a small room, and I was not impressed. There was no writing desk, refrigerator, safe, or even a telephone (perhaps it was accessible via the TV, but I’m not sure). There was also merchandise hanging on the wall for sale, which made the already small room feel even more cramped. Overall, I was disappointed.

The staff were so lovely and helpful! The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and cozy. No complaints, perfect stay.

The location is absolutely fantastic — very central and convenient for getting around. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming, which really made the stay pleasant. The room and overall stay were comfortable. The only downside was the breakfast, which was the same every day and had very limited options for vegetarians like me. Apart from that, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Great room with all you need. Shampoo, conditioner and a good hairdryer a great bonus. Super location, friendly, helpful staff and a FANTASTIC breakfast spread.

Great location, trendy but small, clean rooms

Location was great. Staff was very very friendly. Unfortunately there was construction at the time causing noise.

Staff friendly and helpful, Room was clean and felt cosy. Location perfect for exploring the city, close to transport links but also walking to distance to the main attractions. Hotel went the extra step with a birthday surprise in the room when we arrived.

Great option to be close to Central Train station and Tivoli. Great, helpful staff. Very comfortable bedding. Quiet at night. Tiny bathrooms, and chrome cast tv which never worked with my US apps. But overall happy with stay and staff

while our room was small, it was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast is well worth the money....superb food, very nice dining area, extremely courteous and friendly staff, very clean. Food was delicious with great variety.

Large airy room with opening windows, big comfy bed, breakfast was fantastic and the staff were always happy and helpful Nothing not to like, funky and fun, will be back.

Clean room but very small

Staff were excellent. They were so helpful with dining suggestions and making reservations. Reception staff inparticular Anya was incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was smallish but absolutely adequate for our weekend stay. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was amazing.

It was great staying!
