Lovely staff, I arrived early having booked a single room and they upgraded me to a double for free as they had it ready. Breakfast was standard continental. Only thing really was the room was very cold at night, seemed like very old windows

Me and my friends had a lovely time staying. Love the code-locked main door. The location is very close to the underground service. Close to shops. Nice and quiet neighbourhood. The room was spacious, love the garden view from our room located at the basement. Bathroom is spacious unlike your typical London hotel bathrooms. The continental breakfast is good for the price as well.
The receptionist the day we checked in was not very nice. He did not even show the way to the stairs going to the basement considering that it was our first time in the hotel and we dont know where it was. He was a bit sarcastic when asked. You can hear the tube passing by (though it did not really bother us that much). Main issue was, there was a crack and a leak on the ceiling around the toilet area- it dripped straight to the toilet paper location. So the toilet paper was soaked and not usable.
Overall, will still come back.

Such an old building , no air conditioning. Doors and windows are difficult to use. Illogical room set up, fridge in a cabinet blocking all circulation thus it couldn't get cold. No screens on windows so bugs flew in all the time, bathroom with no place to hang towels or toilet paper. The only nice thing was the included breakfast.

Not a suitable property to stay during summers. NO Air conditioning - rooms are suffocating to stay without AC in London Summer seasons - Nights are terrible. Also no lift means that anyone who stays 2nd floor or above with luggage will have a terrible time taking the luggage up or down.
