The room was small for 3 adults but for the price it was ok

The hotel was very clean and excellent value for money for our family graduation visit.

I generally hate writing bad reviews, especially in a case where I was only in the hotel for a total of 4 HOURS, but my refund request was denied, so this is what it's come to. After a 20 hour overnight trip to Sheffield, I had to deal with the following: 1) The hotel booked me into a room that I didn’t request from Expedia — a wheelchair accessible room, which triggered my chronic back pain as I had to constantly bend over in order to reach surfaces. The hotel staff blamed Expedia for not showing that all regular rooms were booked. 2) The room's AC did not work during the beginning of a heatwave. The staff were not very interested in solving the problem — one of them asked me “do you want me to try to fix it from my end” (WHO ELSE?). Since there was no phone in the room, I spent an hour running from room to lobby to ask about progress. Finally, they just offered me a fan, since no other rooms were available. I noticed that several other customers came with the same complaint. 3) When I expressed confusion about the limited service, they said to me “well, this is a 2 star hotel, and you should’ve expected this”, even though it is listed as a 3 star hotel on various other platforms. This brings into question if the hotel is falsely inflating their rating publicly, only to then turn around and blame the customer for expecting more. I wouldn't have booked it if I knew all of this, and didn't even stay ONE night, so I am once again asking for a refund on my 5 NIGHT stay.

Room was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable if a little firm, but no extra chair or refrigerator which I think should be in a room that size. But worst of all, the place advertises aircon that just did not work any of our nights, during the heatwaves we've been having, unacceptable.

I like this hotel and have stayed here before, and my previous visits have always been good. Unfortunately, on this stay I had an issue with the air conditioning in my room during the current heatwave. The reception staff tried to reset it, but unfortunately it still didn’t work. I was too tired to pursue it any further, so I just slept on top of the bed. Working air conditioning would have made a big difference. Other than that, I’ve always had positive experiences here, and I hope this issue can be resolved for future guests.

Good hotel, great central location with easy walking distance to most city centre attractions. Comfortable rooms and great air con. Friendly helpful staff and a nice breakfast selection.

Cheap but good value. Clean and cheerful

Was very impressed that I had a kettle and tea/coffee as ive stayed in other ibis and they didnt have anything. Slept well every night, bathroom was also great shower was quite good too. Overall impressed, compare to the other ibis in Sheffield

Would happily stay away, big rooms, staff really helpful. Easy to get to.

Well maintained hotel and good breakfast for a reasonable price

Good location. Available street parking for when we were there. Breakfast was reasonable but could benefit from having some fresh fruit.

Clean, well appointed room with very comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast was good and plentiful. A great choice for a budget hotel stay.

Great budget hotel, very clean. Aircon was a godsend on one of the hottest of the year!

For the price and not bad location. However the bed wasn't that we were going for. We felt something bitting our skin all night, probably the mites.

Room clean and staff doing their best but the room was extremely cramped, and the shower leaked over the floor. The included breakfast was dreadful - no bacon, underdone sausages instead with very little meat content and the worst, driest scrambled eggs you can imagine. A pathetic effort compared with other Ibis budget offerings.

Excellent value for money. The place is clean and the beds/bedding comfortable. The shower is comparable with the ones at the Hilton - seriously! Only a few minutes walk to our favourite venue in Sheffield (KAPITAL). Big 10/10 from us

Budget place , good for a night

Staffs were very helpful but my bathroom sink was half blocked.

Very nice room small but more than adequate for 1 person
