Merit Kensington Hotel

The staff are impatient with me. I stay here for four nights!! Also I had really hard time to contact the staff before the trip Trying to call ahead of international calls but the phone attitude was awfully bad. I could give one star of the staff’s service.

Easy check in Clean room Very pleased

Lovely location and beautiful room. Stayed here to see come alive at Earl’s Court. 8 min walk to the arena. Room was lovely clean and quiet - shower was lovely! Would defo stay here again

Everything was great, we had a garden view room which was just lovely and we had a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was just right and convenient. We had a small problem with the sink in our room when we checked in and the front desk staff came straight away to look at it for us. The location is great, on a nice street super close to Earl's Court underground and with plenty of amenities nearby too.

I was shocked to see all the hair and stains on the mattress/mattress cover. If it were just a few it's to be expected however my photos show how dirty they really are. Kinda freaked me out.

Had an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and professional. Loved the decor throughout and everything was spotlessly clean. The air conditioning was a welcome addition too in the fabulous weather we’ve been having. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to choose from. Will definitely stay again.

Deluxe single room was okay for one night but would have felt a bit small for a longer stay. Breakfast was good, bakery items fresh….but room a bit cramped when busy and difficult to get past tables to the food.

Such a lovely room and the staff had gone out of their way to decorate it for a birthday we were celebrating. Great location and we had a wonderful time! Would highly recommend this hotel.

Postive. Location is good. The room had good amenities. Coffee, tea, glasses, fridge, safe, shampoos, conditioner, lotion. Aircon. Phone. Breakfast was nice. Continental style. Negatives. I requested a room away from the elevator. We were assigned right next to it. The elevator when using it, its creaks and is not smooth. When in the room you can hear all of these noises. At 3am I was woken up by the elevator. In the room the heat was on high (mid May). The aircon struggled to work but we managed to get the temp down. The usb plugs x 3 didn’t work in the room. The bathroom door was peeling on the back (stick on panels. We managed to restick it. Breakfast. It’s in the basement of the main hotel. The sign in the elevator says served till 930. But it’s served till 10. There is 1 toaster, which took awhile. They could have another one. It was busy at breakfast around 9am. For info. The hotel has three buildings along the same street. Reception and breakfast is in the main building.

I was extremely apprehensive about our stay last night due to seeing quite a few recent very negative reviews regarding cleanliness of the rooms and bed linen and the attitude of the reception staff. I did email the Hotel regarding the reviews and they did reply by return assuring us of a welcome stay. Ok, on arrival the staff were very friendly and attentive, and we stayed in a deluxe premium room which i must say was spacious and very clean… We would like to thank the Hotel for a very enjoyable nights stay.

Room had plenty of space, and was kept nice and clean! Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a great stay. The beds are quite firm and might not be comfortable depending on what you're used to. Also of note: it's right next to a school. We were up early each day so it wasn't a big deal for us, but if you like to sleep in you might want to keep that in mind.

Excellent location for first time travellers. Tube station is only 4mins walk with restaurants and drugstores within 2mins walk. Rooms are well maintained and clean No laundry services but can be arranged via third party Overall a great experience

No coffee maker in my room.

Security was excellent. Access to the Earls Court underground is excellent.

Great price and very good facility. Room was compact and modern but had everything required.
