We were very lucky to be upgraded at check in to an executive room.... Not sure why we deserved it but were very grateful for a very nice, spacious room. Lovely comfy bed, great shower with toiletries. Great location for walking to bars, restaurants and Liverpool One. Staff were really pleasant on both check in and check out and offered to store our bags if we needed too. Would definitely come back. Thank you for a lovely stay

Stayed one night at Novotel Liverpool with my wife and three kids. Minibar completely empty, not even basic drinking water provided. Called room service in the early hours asking for water and was told: “It’ll cost £5 to bring it up, or you can come down and get it yourself from the bar.”
Absolutely disgraceful customer service. For a so-called 4-star hotel, this is unacceptable. Avoid at all costs

These rooms are so old that there is mold all over the bathrooms. The sinks and shower don’t drain due to obvious hair blockages. The carpet is dirty and grimy. The staff were friendly but the accommodation was truly just gross.

A very smart hotel really close to everything we wanted. The room was clean and tidy. The shower leaked water on the bathroom floor but was only a minor issue.
I only had one electric socket by the bed so only one item could be charged. So had to unplug the hotel telephone. Way so few sockets?
Apart from that the hotel was good. The reception and bar were very nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very good with excellent shower and seperate toilet which lacked a small sink to wash hands. It was also very quiet. If we return to liverpool this hotel would definately be on our list.

It’s in a great location across from Liverpool One, lots of dining options across the street n clearly lots of shopping choices in Liverpool One. The only thing we didn’t like was the view from our window which was facing other windows in an empty old building. Otherwise, our stay was great n having the home bargains shop next door was helpful!

Worst thing was the restaurant - like trying to eat in a disco! Food not that good either and portions definitely not generous.
Yes I’d come again but there’s loads more places to eat in a short walk.
