As usual everything was perfect. Great breakfast buffet, clean room even though we were put in a disabled room. I did query this and the manager was very apologetic and did not know how this had happened. We have stayed at Peter Scott many times and can't fault the staff enough. Also stayed in The Edgebaston Park Hotel across the road .

I was fortunately moved to the main building and had a good stay, although the breakfast coffee was awful and the bacon murdered! I was first put in room 213(?) PS, the room was ok but the noise, just ridiculous. I’m not sure if it’s the air con system you here

Breakfast was good, service was very good but 2 main concerns, the bottom of my show had a lot of rust in the base and the security is zero as key is same for the front door and your room key so everyone is sharing one key. Never seen that anywhere before

Reception staff very helpful. Room excellent and very well appopinted - hair dryer, aron, ironing board, safe. Warm. Beds slide out from the wall if you happen to push on the headboard. Otherwise very comfortable.

Really lovely stay, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast with great vegetarian options and friendly staff. The shower was a touch temperamental but after it ran for a bit it wasn't a big issue. Overall really great stay.

Hi the room was clean. We had a TV, a kettle and it was quiet. We had a disabled badge so the parking was free. We Will definitely use again when we visit our daughter at the university. You have to check in at the hotel over the road - it's not far but was the only reason for not giving 5 stars.

Reception is in a different hotel making it very strange as if anything was to happen I don’t know what staff would even be in to help. Make sure you read check in instructions as there’s none when you enter to tell you where to go . Car park is described as at the hotel but is actually across the road in a different car park. Wasn’t described as this being in student accommodation or else I wouldn’t have bothered . Room was very small, bathroom badly needs redone with marks all over shower floor. Room is super crammed and can hear pipe works and also the rooms next door / hallway and was awoken both nights with people in the hallways . No facilities in the hotel such as kettle , fridge etc and I’ve paid a lot less for a hotel that’s came with these . Definitely not the price it should be and should be a lot cheaper for what it actually is

The room was very basic- its an annexe of the main hotel and is obviously very well used. The shower tray was damaged and worn and a bit dated, but clean. The decor in the communal area was also tired. The hotel was handy for the uni which it was what i wanted. Main downside was the noise of the central heating or water or something. There was an intermittent rumbling or thrum all night which spoilt the stay. I would go back but avoid room 210! The main hotel was where we had breakfast and it was fine. The bar area was also nice.

My only complaint is we both found the mattress too hard and woke up with painful hips. We did not get free breakfast. We were told the booking was room only and there was nothing on the confirmation email about free breakfast. We paid £14.95 each.
