Lovely weekend away, enjoyed our stay at the Homestead, Maria and Kevin were fantastic hosts. Melling is very quiet so you will need to drive to a shop/pub, that said we did walk to the pub, 45 mins. Definitely recommend and were made very welcome in their beautiful home.

Wonderful location. Amazing house. Owners very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was lovely. Bed was a little small and the roll top bath is really good if you around 5ft.

The Homestead, a beautiful B&B with great character. Sits in Melling about 5 miles from Kirkby Lonsdale.
The hosts Kevin snd Maria, couldn't do enough to make our stay as memorable as possible. Kevin dropped us and picked us up from one of the local pubs, that we had booked in for ouf evening meal. Whilst Maria cooked wonderful breakfasts.
Definitely worth a visit, we are looking to book again.

We had an amazing experience at homestead kevin and maria were fantastic and very attentive hosts and our room was extraordinarily beautiful . The breakfast was also 5 star and we mentioned the day before it was our wedding anniversary today and when we came down for breakfast they had left us a card and chocolates will definitely be returning and very soon x
