Lovely guesthouse Great comfy bed. Lovely home cooked breakfast with good produce. We were attending a wedding at the nearby Wennington Hall and Kevin kindly dropped us off and picked us up at the end of the evening. He did not request any payment fir this but we did tip him,

Great stay! Stayed for 1 night for a wedding at Wennington hall. Host offered a lift to and from the venue which was fab. Room had everything you needed - tea coffee etc. bathroom had towels shower gel etc. Breakfast selection excellent which was pre ordered the night before. Fab hosts - would recommend stay

The Homestead was the very best Luxury BxB we have ever stayed in anywhere in Europe. It is very unique spotlessly clean and you are made very welcome.

Stayed here on 29th May, whilst attending a friends wedding at Wennington Hall. I can honestly say the hospitality was second to none, breakfast was fantastic. Kevin kindly offered his services to pick us up from the venue, no matter how late we decided to stay out till and even run us back in the morning to collect our car when ready. Beds were comfy, especially after a skinful.. I couldn’t fault the stay at all, perfect location if visiting wennington hall, absolutely would stay again. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, a real gem.

Had an absolutely amazing stay! From the warm welcome to the spotless rooms and incredible service, everything exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was relaxing, the staff were friendly and attentive, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. What a great stay. Kevin and Maria were very attentive, warm, and hospitable. This was our first night in UK after a long flight and felt like home. The accommodations were very nice and the king room was so cozy. The bed slept great and had everything we needed. The breakfast was first class but also made us feel like we were staying with family! Thanks for the great stay.

The room was very well appointed with ornate, high quality furniture generating a comfortable and unique experience. Kev and Maria were very welcoming in making us feel like our stay was a home from home.

What a lovely bed and breakfast and we couldn’t fault Maria’s breakfast Tortillas.

The hosts/owners were the most welcoming and friendly couple. The property was immaculate and the quality of the rooms were 10/10. Breakfast was cooked to our requested time and menu. Which was delicious. If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely stay.

A one off. Described as a luxury stay, it was with its antique furnishings. Kevin & Maria were fine hosts.

Lovely stay at the Homestead, Maria & Kevin were perfect hosts. Lovely room on top floor with ever so comfortable bed and everything you wanted in room & bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, would love to come back in the future.

The church opposite the property chimed every hour day and night. So didn’t sleep well kept awake by the church

Spotlessly clean, really friendly hosts who can’t do enough for you. Property is in beautiful condition, beds are really comfortable.

Our stay lived up the expectations of the other reviews of the place. Good room, Maria and Kevin were welcoming and friendly hosts and a lovely home cooked breakfast each morning.

Lovely weekend away, enjoyed our stay at the Homestead, Maria and Kevin were fantastic hosts. Melling is very quiet so you will need to drive to a shop/pub, that said we did walk to the pub, 45 mins. Definitely recommend and were made very welcome in their beautiful home.
