Townhouse No 12

All were fine and the room was really comfortable. The location was good, just in a walking distance from the station (railway/bus). I was sorry that I didn't read the check-in instruction, but the host was kindly admitting me when I arrived without a prior conversation. I really appreciate.

Not too far out of centre nice clean bedding loo on different floor though but not too bad for price

Some issues with communal shower and window in room. However, host was approachable and helpful. Decent value for money

Room quality was ok but no brilliant.; kind of like typical student accommodation or 2 star hotel, can’t help thinking given the quality of the room the whole £100 deposit was a bit over the top . I have said in a lot of hotels and band b s and never had thus , sometimes in 4 or 5 star hotels they ask for card details but never actually draw money from your account

Our room & the shared bathrooms were clean. Joan kept in regular contact to make sure we weren’t short of anything & everything was ok for our stay.

Room was okay and bed was comfortable but the shower had no hot water.

A cosy little stay just for myself whilst I checked out the university and had an interview. The staff are so friendly and the facilities are comfortable. The bathrooms may be shared but they are always clean

Room was clean enough, but I didn't like idea of no bathroom in room at all. Parking too far from property didn't feel safe walking at night. Very noise about 03:00

Sharing a toilet in the foyer next to the main front door,was no on-suites available when we booked.

I was very upset with the very low quality hotel and I checked in and left after 30min and booked another hotel through the app for the same night. Please check my records

Me and my friend arrived at the property called the number got access to the property as we walked up the staircase to our rooms we both smelt what i can describe as bad sock smell in our rooms iy was worst the rooms were not as described on hotels .com took a video of the room then called the landlord and said we will not be staying there and we booked another hotel next day called the landlord to ask for a refund she said the smell was nothing and wont be giving me a refund which i was shocked as we didnt stay there i will be applying for a refund from hotels .com

Although it looks nice from the outside once you step through the front door your heart will sink. It looks a lot like student digs or bedsits. The doors to each room do not look secure. As I work with expensive kit I would not be happy leaving my stuff in the room unattended. The room I was booked into (room 2) was of an average size but the decor was old, tatty and peeling from the walls, the bed linen was dirty, damp and did not look to be recently changed/ laundered. There was a very odd and unpleasant odour barely being masked by the liberal use of air-fresherners. The shower cubicle plonked onto the cirner if the room was filthy, and had clear evidence of mould growth. The toilet (on a landing in the hallway) wasnt much improvement. Hoensetly, I've used shower facilities in heavily used truck stops which were cleaner. Not even close to value for money. I decided not to stay there as it was awful. I ended up booking a far nicer hotel for the same price instead. This looks like (one imagines) escorts or ladies of the night might take you yo to ply their trade in person. Definitely one to avoid.

Great place to stay, Town centre is within walking distance.

Nice and clean comfortable stay. Very nice spacious room. However the only negative was the tv did not work had no Channels available to view and there was no internet at all.

The service is very poor the manager was very rude

It was great. Hassle-free from start to finish. Will definitely be staying here when I’m back in Huddersfield.

Room was OK. Advert on site should make it clear you have to give a £50 deposit in case of damages??
