Very easy to get to by a quick train ride from Vantaa airport. A convenient place to stay before onward journeying. Great breakfast

If you are on this side of town, then Sokos is a good choice. While the room isn't huge, it's clean, on the newer side and the staff was friendly and accomodating. The break fast was a treat, and though it wasn't cook to order, it was well stocked with a variety of fresh fruits and fixings.

Location was an easy train trip from the airport after a long travel. Check-in was easy and friendly. Room was nice and comfortable, location was walkable and safe and the bar downstairs was clearly a destination on a weekend night.

The hotel was decent. The condition and the cleanliness was quite good. We had an aircon in the room that you couldn't really feel but the maintenance guy wasn’t around so they offered to change rooms for us. The service was also ok… as in they weren’t there when you called for something but they did call back 15 mins later.
I didn’t enjoy the breakfast though, it just wasn’t good… and the eggs had a bad smell.
Overall, i’d say an ok score for a 3 star hotel. But it wasn’t bad.

Great hotel for overnight stay with family.
We were given a suite as we were 4 people.
Modern room(s), with spacious bathroom, Lumene shampoo and conditioner and shower gel provided.
The only minus was no A/C ( we were there in the middle of a heatwave). There is a control panel for inside temp but you couldn’t make the room very cool, though I’m sure heating won’t be an issue.
We also found the pillows huge and hard, though this is a personal preference of course.
Breakfast was ok and included in the price.
You pay for parking in their garage at the automat when you are leaving. This was straight forward and no issues with paying with card.
Around 10 minutes drive from the airport it is great value if you need a place to stay in the neighbourhood.

This hotel has a great location at right next to Tikkurila railway station where you can catch a local train to Helsinki airport (about 10 mins journey) and to central Helsinki (about 15 - 20 mins journey). I had an extremely spacious room even though I had a booked a 'basic' single occupancy. My room was super clean and had all amenities you could wish for; a kettle for coffee / tea, a free bottle of wine, a minibar (charged), bathrobe and slippers and plenty of goodies in a bathroom.
There is a restaurant as well as a pub right off the main reception and also a night club with live music played on Saturday evenings. It's live music and can be heard in bedrooms.
Service at the front reception as well as restaurants were friendly as efficient (as you would expect in Finland).
I would warmly recommend Sokos Hotel Vantaa for a short stay in Helsinki area.

Serious levels of dust on the furniture, especially on the TV furniture. Really poor level of cleaning.
Stayed there for 2 nights, my room was not cleaned during my stay - because of Covid19 they claimed. Fail to see how that should keep anyone safer. And there was no information about this, only found out when I called them.
For wake-up calls I had to call the reception +5 times both evenings before anyone picked up the phone.
I am not going to stay there again.

Great location close to the Tikkurila train station and also close to the airport, just a few steps away from the Vantaa city museum and Heureka Science museum. Breakfast buffet is excellent, with lots of different offerings.
