Clean, good location, great choice of breakfast, double bed was comfy. The first night the kids pull out beds were uncomfortable but we asked for toppers like they had put on ours and this was quickly seen to.
My only negative was the pool was too cold to swim in.

Check in was crazy. Took over 90 minutes.
Once we checked in, room was nice and large (family room). Mini bar fridge was dead though.
Breakfast was chaotic. We booked a time slot (as instructed), but no tables. Then once we got a table, there were no coffee cups (some eventually arrived), no cutlery ( some eventually arrived), and getting food was crowded and chaotic. The staff were nice and working hard, but there were simply not enough staff for a busy weekend breakfast service.

Our first impressions were how convenient to the City Centre the location was. Walkable and tram and bus stop outside. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very warm, quiet and had everything we required. The buffet breakfast was truly amazing. Pretty much anything you want is available to you.

Room was neglected indeed. Candy wrappers left on the floor when checked in. Glasses were dirty with lipstick stains on the lip. Clearly not replaced and cleaned well

Nice hotel. Fun play room for kids. Nice breakfast. Helpful staff. but a few things that were a little frustrating. We are a family of five. They have us four towels. Like why can’t we have five? The elevator is really cold. The pool is really cold. Location is good. Parking is really expensive. Overall I would recommend.

Very hot at night (due to humidity). There is A/C, but don’t expect American-style air conditioning where you can set a temperature. It’ll be cooler than outside, but not much, and of comparable humidity.

There is a pool and sauna on the top floor; my teenagers enjoyed these facilities
The hotel has 500 rooms and was at capacity when we checked in amidst coach parties. The staff are patient and efficient. The three lifts got very busy and full.
Breakfast buffet was wide ranged from porridge and fruit, yoghurt and dairy, lots of bread and pastries, many types of meat
The family room with 3 beds was perfect
No kettle, drinks or snacks in room (our rate €210)
Tram system is excellent and runs just outside this massive hotel on the main drag through Helsinki
