What Guests Say About Their Stay

It’s hard to describe how magical this experience felt. The service was truly top tier. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Our room had everything we could possibly need and felt both comfortable and authentically castle-like. We chose to have dinner at the on site restaurant and it was easily the best dining experience I have ever had. The service was genuine white glove perfection and the food was exquisite. The textures and flavors were an experience all on their own. My only regret is not booking the spa ahead of time. I assumed I could make a reservation on arrival but they were fully booked or closed during our stay. The grounds and views are spectacular and the property has so much to offer, even on a quiet Monday in the middle of winter. Truly unforgettable.

We were well received. The room was magnificent, the breakfast was excellent. The atmosphere was amazing. Only good things to stay about our stay. We have been to many spas in the past but this spa was no.1 along with the swimming pool.

Lovely place to stop over on the way home, pool a good size and lovely to swim in, lots of sun beds. Only dropped a star as the bathrooms were very tiny (my husband is nearly 2m) and dated, also it was a challenge to carry 3 very heavy cases to the room without a lift. We had a family room which was in the chateau and was spacious with plenty of storage etc. Kids enjoyed it! Area was beautiful, staff very helpful and friendly. Would use again.

We stayed for one night in a charming family room. Old bathroom with equally old seperate toilet. Dinner and breakfast absolutely not 4-star worthy. Yoghurt obviously over expiring date and the fruit salad was the same from the desert of the previous evening. Location top - food (Rotisserie Restaurant) flop.

It is amazing. A hidden hem. We had a stay on our way from Italian Alps to Lyon airport. Instead of taking a regular hotel near the airport we decided to stay 30-40 min away. The property is an amazing 14tg century Chateau. We travelled with kids and booked a two-bedroom duplex in a tower. I wish we could spent more time in the place.

What a wonderful stay in this exceptional place; from the dramatic scenery of the 13th century castle to the beautiful surroundings in a place where time simply stops. Guests can enjoy and relax by the pool, indulge in a brand-new spa, and dine on property at the gastronomic restaurant (kudos to the Chef and team!) or the “bistrot d’été”. From a world traveler who stopped doing so as the world paused for a few months, it was a real treat to get to enjoy a trip just a few hours away from home. Highly recommend!
