Hotel Floride Etoile

Our stay at Hotel Etoile Floride was excellent. We arrived close to midnight, and the front desk staff greeted us warmly and made check-in smooth and welcoming. The hotel has a charming, quaint atmosphere and is situated in a quiet neighborhood while still being conveniently located. Although the property is a bit older, it is very well maintained. Our room was clean, comfortable, and in good condition, and the overall hotel was spotless and well cared for. The breakfast was satisfying, with a good variety of options to choose from. Our only minor drawback was the small elevator, which required members of our group to ride separately at times. Despite this, we would gladly recommend Hotel Etoile Floride because of its excellent location near the Trocadéro, numerous restaurants, and convenient hop-on hop-off bus stops.

Great location, great staff, and great hotel. Only complaint is the walls are absolutely paper thin and you can literally hear every conversation and every movement your neighbors made. The people staying across the hall from us were a group of Spanish ladies who were so incredibly loud and inconsiderate until 2 am some nights. After a few noise complaints the hotel concierge got them to be quiet but it didn’t last long. Wouldn’t stay here again just based on that. You can even hear when people are in the shower and bathroom in the room next to you. Not great but it’s a great location.

The AC was not able to control well. The AC had to be turned on every 3 hrs or so as it had some sort of energy saving control that automatically turned the AC off. We never got it to cool below 24C and the staff told us an explanation of how the controls worked and we could certainly set it any temperature we desired— and yet, it never achieved that and seemed restrained to 24C. We were offered a fan if we wanted it. Paris had temps in the 90F range during our stay— so I guess the AC was being taxed. Other than that, the room was lovely and staff welcoming and helpful!

Very friendly staff, excellent location and nice complete breakfast. There’s metro stations and grocery stores super close to the hotel.

Amazing hotel for a stay in Paris

The staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly. Anna and a gentleman that worked there were so good to us. We don’t speak French and they answered all our questions and offered suggestions that made our stay extra wonderful. Anna found our taxi to the airport. I thought I left some clothes at the hotel. When I contacted them after I got home, they were professional and courteous.

Friendly and amazing front desk staff. Extremely clean and cold A/C in the room. Definitely recommend.

Location was amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was small but good. The room did smell pretty musty and there were no plug ins in the bathroom. Even with those things I would stay here again!

Great location. There are a lot of restaurants nearby and walking distance to Eiffel Tower. Staffs are nice and friendly. Room is clean with daily housekeeping. It would be better if breakfast can be provided hot dishes.

Room clean but small but the staff is super nice and looked like a nice hotel restaurant although we did not try . Close to Eiffel Tower and Arc d Triomphe. Great restaurants nearby and walking distance to many places.

The property was clean and kept. I would say it was small and intimate definitely meeting the standards for a 3 star hotel. The rooms are very small, but that was expected. The staff was pleasant and speak good English. Overall, I will stay again.

This hotel was small roomed but worked great for our travel purposes. We were looking for a hotel that was close to the Eiffel Tower and other common Paris travel amenities. We were only a couple minutes away from the Eiffel Tower so walking was also accessible! The room however was very small and hard to maneuver our luggage and space. It worked well for what it was and I would go back primarily based on the cost and location. No breakfast. Staff was very friendly, every evening chatting with us.

Daytime receptionist was so lovely. Early check in was not possible but was grateful that hotel agreed to hold our luggage until our room was ready. They even moved our luggage into our room ahead of us coming back from lunch in the city. We ended up coming back to check in around 6:30PM, and headed out shortly after. Room was very small. Grateful that there was a mini fridge. Minimal circulation in bathroom. Shower could only be used as a handheld. Ahead of heading out on our first night, I forgot to talk to the new receptionist about an issue with my sheets that I noticed so I decided to discuss it with him after returning from dinner. Long story short, evening receptionist was rude. I asked for new sheets because I saw a stain on the sheets I had. I didn't even ask for housekeeping to change my sheets, I just wanted new sheets so I could change them myself. He yelled at me that it was impossible that there was a stain and I basically had to fight for a new part of sheets. After he brought the sheets he snarkly said "I hope these don't have a stain on them". Was very surprised on this change in attitude because when first meeting him ahead of dinner, he was very friendly.
