Staff was nice and helpful. However if you are sensitive to smell this might not be for you. The odor is hard to describe, some what similar to old basement. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean.

We booked a standard room at Le Concorde because we loved the location and the photos. Upon arrival we realized that room 308 is inadequate: first of all it smelled like a toilet that wasn't flushed, and secondly the shower was about the size of an MRI machine, probably smaller. We went to reception asking to be moved to another room, but were told that hotel was totally booked. We ended up moving to Grand Hotel Roi Rene, as it was absolutely impossible to stay at Le Concorde in the room we were given, and we didnt get any hep from the front desk. The fact that this room goes as "Standard" just shows how low the management standards are. Shameful!

Very friendly and helpful young staff. Our remote a/c control didn’t work when the young man at the office couldn’t fix it he gave us the one from there.
The unit was clean and importantly, quiet! Lots of three star hotels in the area, Concorde is competitive on price and value. I’d recommend it on those points, plus the excellent service. Only thing I wouldn’t bother with is the breakfast which costs extra. There are dozens of excellent restaurants just across the street in Historic Aix. For no more money go have your coffee and yoghurt or croissant there for the experience.

The hotel is in a great location - just a few steps from a bustling part of Aix, with lots of restaurants, shops, cafes and bars. The hotel itself was great for a budget stay. Rooms had a fridge, kettle, safe a s air conditioning. They were small and basic but clean. We were initially put into a room without a balcony, having paid for one that has one. The staff were helpful and quick to move us into a different room. There is parking on site which was very handy. Would stay here again.

But unfortunately you learn the quality of a hotel by the amount of noise and pressure the maid makes to get you out of the room normally a check out in a respectable hotel is at noon we were harassed by the maid to get out of the room even before 11 am I explained the front desk staff that we needed 20 minutes more to get dressed but the maid came to nock the door after standing close to the window supposedly reviewing some papers

1ère chambre minuscule avec le lit bébé très à l’étroit
Propreté des lieux bof bof… j’ai du nettoyer les placards avant de poser mes affaires, saleté et cheveux, et je n’ai osé toucher au séche cheveux vu l’état du fils enroulé plein de poussière … les portes méritent un bon lessivage (traces ++)

Hotel le Concorde was in a great location, as the border of the tourist area is just across the street. There you will find tons of Restaurants, plus the various Cathedrals and Museums usually visited by tourists who come to town. Also there is a small grocery store conviently located next door to the hotel. We arrived before check in, so we asked if we could park our car in the hotel garage, then we would head out sightseeing while waiting for check in. The parking garage has a daily charge, however, the manager actually charged us extra for parking a few hours early even though the garage was almost empty. The other hotel employees were much more accommodating.
Our room was small with a balcony but the real draw is the location.
