Loved the location and meals excellent Property could do with some TLC but we understand the limitations

Rocamadour is a wonderful place. I felt this hotel was not as touristic as some of the others, and the location was perfect. I was happy with my choice. The staff at the hotel and the accompanying restaurant were very nice. There is a beautiful view of the cliffs from the restaurant too.

Back deck on the river, good breakfast, excellent meals

You are made to feel welcome in this Hotel with the owners related to original children who discovered the Pech Merle. The Hotel is right on the river with a deck to enjoy the environment at meal time. Local products feature highly and food is good. Nice pool. Rooms are very basic and no air con but nice breeze through the windows. Would recommend for the experience.

Great location if you are visiting Pech Merle. The room was basic, but had everything you need to be comfortable. I would stay here anytime!

My wife and I stayed for two nights. The room was fairly small but well appointed and with comfortable modern bed, and the toilet and the shower were in separate small rooms off the main room -- other reviews/pics suggest that some other rooms are larger. The staff were very friendly and helpful (it's a family-run place) and the rear decking overlooking the river was a lovely place to sit and read, beer in hand. The surrounding area has lots of interest, so it's a good hotel to use as a base if you're exploring by car for a few days -- the hotel has its own parking area. The free wifi worked well enough, although disconnected itself from time to time.

Great view from the room. Loved sitting out on their porch for dinner. Can watch the fish jump. They eve provided bread to attract the ducks and fish. Dinner was great. Roads are narrow in the town and I appreciate just being able to eat at the hotel restaurant - not driving. Easy drive to Peche Merle grotto.

The triple room was generally adequate for a one-night stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is within 1 km walking distance (up hill) to the Peche Merle caves. Location of hotel and restaurant was beautiful on the river. Unfortunately we were there on a warm July day and the room had no air conditioning. The room did, however, have flies as did the restaurant. We seemed to be the only visitors bothered by the flies (they shared the open breakfast buffet for instance) and I attribute that to being wimpy tourists from Seattle. But the flies kept us from opening our window until after midnight so our room was unbearably hot for quite some time. Perhaps on a non-summer day the hotel would have been much more enjoyable.

Très cool très bon repas

L’hôtel est bien situé, mais je suis déçue car la chambre attribuée ne correspondait pas à celle réservée. J’avais choisi une chambre double confort avec vue sur la rivière, or j’ai reçu une chambre sans cette vue et de confort moindre. Cela a vraiment impacté la qualité de mon séjour, et je regrette le manque d’explication ou de geste commercial à ce sujet. J’espère que ce type de situation sera mieux géré à l’avenir, car le cadre est agréable et le potentiel est là.

Nous sommes restés une seule nuit On nous a proposé la demi-pension pour 34 Euros ... Super Personnel courtois agréable Propreté Trés bonne literie Avons apprécié la piscine Une seule petite chose Ce serait bien si les chambes étaient équipées de télé .... Mais nous reviendrons à l'occasion.

Excellent petit hôtel étape près des grottes de Pech Merle . Chambre avec une très bonne literie et très propre. Agneau de 7 heures succulent. Personnel super sympa et merci au patron pour son accueil.

Super séjour à l'hôtel des grottes comme d'habitude Je le conseille vraiment en plus dans un petit coin de paradis
