Bad location bad service

Excellent little hotel very convenient for train station, bars and restaurants. Quiet location with minimal noise from building works nearby. Looks like the major work they were doing on flats nearby is complete so any disturbance should be minimal. Secluded pool and sunbathing area is a real bonus. It is very sheltered and is a real sun trap. Staff were very pleasant during our four night stay and if in J les P again then we will definitely stay here again.

The property has been sympathetically updated. The rooms are small but well equipped with a generously sized bathroom. The garden and pool area although small is a little oasis away from the busy resort. Staff were very helpful and we had an enjoyable stay

Absolutely lovely property. Immaculately clean! The fluffiest towels you would ever use. First night we slept for 10 hours the bed was so comfy. The staff are lovely and welcoming and extremely helpful and friendly. We had an early flight and were able to check out online and leave the room cards. The hotel is situated 8mins walk to Juan Le Pins beach and the whole area is walkable. En route you will find numerous places to eat and drink and various prices. The beach is lovely, clear water and lots of families having fun. To get there we got bus 82 from Nice Airport (T2 bus stop 3 - it also stops at terminal 1) getting off at La Regence takes about 30 minutes. from there it’s an 8 minute walk to the hotel over the railway bridge. The bus cost €10.90 per adult amd you can pay cash or card directly on the bus. We got the timetable to get the bus back. The bus stop to return to Nice Airport is next to the Spar shop and you should get to the bus stop about 15 minutes before it’s due as it sometimes comes early. Overall we had an excellent time in Juan Le Pins and exploring Antibes and will definitely be back without hesitation as the time went too quickly.

The hotel is in a prime location not far from the train station. After just a few minutes walk the shops, restaurants, cafes and beach are all available. The hotel is kept immaculately clean, the staff are wonderful and they are so helpful if any problems arise. The breakfast choice is excellent and well presented. I highly recommend Hotel le Sud after staying there many times over the years.

This place is a real gem in the area! The staff are helpful and welcoming—you feel at home. The design adds to the cozy atmosphere, and the location is great. Highly recommend it!

What a gem. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the hotel is well located between the old town and the beach. The room was beautifully clean and the bed really comfortable. Thank you to everyone on the front desk, all were so ready to assist.

Le petit déjeuner est extraordinaire avec des produits de qualité que de grands hotels ne proposent pas. le personnel est accueillant et souriant. It is a small, charming, independent hotel. Easy access to the beach and not far from the Juan-les-Pins station. Sunny breakfast room and a small pool.

Hotel Le Sud was a perfect spot to base ourselves in the French Riveria. The hotel has a good skeleton with its clean lines, white wash, interior design, boutique pool and garden. It could add a few touches to increase the stay from a 3 star to 4 star by simply upping the customer service. We had to go down to the bar and ask for our room water bottle to be filled daily otherwise we were charged €4. The tea was not restocked, again requiring us to ask at reception for this and the room cups and glasses had to be washed by us. A simple directory of local amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants and laundromat would be handy.

Room smelling cigarrette. This were not Nice. About the other aspects i strongly recomend.

Hotel le Sud is in an excellent location, only 2 minutes from the rail station, and convenient to the town centre, restaurants and the beach. Cleanliness is first class and reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. Rooms are spacious and generally quiet and comfortable. My only issue is that I found the bed too hard for me (but others might have no issues). Certainly give it a go, the location and cleanliness is superb.

Thank you Hôtel Le sud for the best stay! This was our first visit and definitely won’t be the last. Every single staff member was overly friendly and so so lovely, they couldn’t do enough. They have us recommendations for the local area, the room was lovely and location just perfect. It was my birthday and they surprised me with a personalised mug! Thank you so so much, we can not wait to come back!

The hotel’s photo gallery is deceptive…the rooms are so small and our room wreaked of cigarettes. Pretty photos are only good if it’s a reflection of the property in person. We immediately walked out and left the hotel to find a new place to stay. It’s on a rundown looking area as well and very difficult to find parking. I was very disappointed and I’m working with Expedia now for a full refund. I would not recommend.
