Great place to stay, 5 min walk to Dax center.Good tapas ( French style ) and platter of charcuterie in the bar area if you just want something light to eat. The outside of the hotel could do with a lick of paint but I recommend it.

The rating may be unfair, the hotel may be fine for certain agegroups but it was not a good fit for us, it felt old, and stodgy, with a real retro (and not in a good way) feel. The staff were very helpful and their English was much better than my French! We didnt go there for thermal spa treatments or anything like that, rather the historical significance of this town from a Roman perspective (little evidence of which remains) and as a stop off on our way north. The 'free' Wifi is pretty limited alsoplus the serviecs available are restricted, they are assigned based on a maximum of 1 device per room.

Chambre spacieuse et literie parfaite. Salle de bain avec tout ce qu'il faut : tapis sortie de bain et produits de bain. Très proche du centre ville : 5 / 10 minutes à pied. Parking disponible, mais à réserver et payant. Dommage, lors de notre nuitée, clim n'a pas fonctionné dans notre chambre, donc la nuit n'a pas vraiment été réparatrice (26°). Nous l'avons signalé le matin et geste commercial le parking que nous occupions nous a été offert. Par contre très déçus par le petit déjeuner à 10€ : rien de bien particulier, très basique. Très peu de salé. Pas d'œuf, ni bacon.
