Eagle’s nest !!! Hired a private guide. Food delicious. Andrew a retired surgeon. Booked 2.5 hours. For us it was worth it. They have excursions to a lake and a salt mine. Hiking is super.

An absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is superbly located at 1,000 metres up in the mountains and has a beautiful and modern design. Our room had a spectacular M An absolutely amazing experience. The hotel is superbly located at 1,000 metres up in the mountains and has a beautiful and modern design. Our room had a spectacular Mountain View and the food was superb. All the staff were lovely and friendly (Justin, Mario, Anita, Christian & Andy to name but a few) and we loved the activities. We went canyoning, via ferrata climbing and mountain biking and had a great time. The activity team were brilliant and worked very hard to organise everything for us which made our trip so enjoyable.
Thank you everyone and we look forward to returning soon.

The hotel is amazing. The lady at the front desk was not that friendly and if you are traveling with kids, they may not use the pools after 18:00 hrs and it closes at 20:00. I do not remember paying less money for the kids, so did not understand why they could not use the facilities. Other than that, it is very nice.

Pools were welcomed and wish we could have gotten a spa treatment but were already booked. Next time. The grounds are beautiful and I highly recommend staying here while in Berchtesgaden.

This spacious and modern hotel is in a fabulous location and fully deserves all the praise and acclaim it continues to receive.
The Spa and pools are excellent; breakfast was lovely and plentiful, and our room super comfortable and with a magnificent view of the mountains.
Highlights: swimming in the heated outdoor pool area during heavy rainfall, which was weirdly comforting, and also looking out and seeing The Eagle's Nest on top of a nearby mountain.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we return to the region.

They charged 120 Euros extra for a 3pm Checkput, even though the rooms were totally empty! I had checked in late at 2am & while Checking in they had said I could have a relaxed checkout. But the lady at the reception seemed to be racially discriminatory & very Rudely said 40 Euros per hour for late Checkout!

Immaculate room beautiful standards and amazing breakfast decor stunning too. The view over the mountains from our terrace was beautiful we could see the Watz mountain. The terrace was also private and the sound proofing on the room was very impressive
