California Hotel

There are cockroaches on our rooms. The room that was given to us for 6pax was so small and the only good thing that happened are the housekeepers. They told me that there is a vacant family room that is way bigger and comfortable compared to the one that was given to us

Location is fantastic. The rooms are too small for convinient. The toilet, shower and wash hand basen are all discomfortably in a small room

Short trip to HK and decided to stay at TST, you know HK is really expensive and expect small rooms. Value for money and location was good

Room we were provided was ridiculously small, even though we had booked months in advance we still got the last available room. The 4 of us had to shuffle on to one of the double beds just to be able to close the door and access the 2nd bed. Bathroom drain took forever to drain after a shower, you were basically standing in about 5cms of water after a shower. There was barely enough room to open our suitcases, lots of shuffling around was required just to be able to do so. Hong Kong accommodation is typically small but this really was the bottom of the barrel...

There are rooms for improvement, AC and bed as well as the bathroom ceiling need to be updated.

California Hotel is Budget Freindly. The customer Service was spot on. Rooms small but was bot a issue for 3 of us. My wife is 27 weeks Prgnent and she was comfortable

Honestly it accepted a group of travelers last minute ao its a great place in my opinion

Hotel is close to most tourist area but price, service and the what you get for your $$ is not worth, also very small room with no breathing space.

Already told you. There was a leak on the shower. Very nagging when you're seating on the toilet.

Beside the good location.. Everything is extremely terrible.. From cleanliness, service, room size.. Staff acted like gangster.. I won't come back here at all..

One of the worst places I have ever stayed in.Have played less and d had better.Room was immature and shower had toilet in cubicle. Bed was tiny and wallpaper dirty and mouldy..Should be taken off expedia list they should have a look at it..I did not comlain because all the rooms were probably the same and didn't want to spoil my holiday.

My personal experience was quite disappointing. Particularly because I stayed here on a Saturday night when the prices went up everywhere, so I felt like I paid too much for what I got in return. The good: The place was very close to MTR station right in the city centre. Many shopping malls, eateries, museums, ferry terminals, were all in walking distance. But then again, it's not as if there's only few places around here to choose from. The bad: The room. This was my 5th time to Hong Kong and I've had a few stays in Tsim Sha Tsui, so I learned to expect tiny but well-maintained rooms with good services. This room, even with a free upgrade to two bigger beds, was still tiny but there are visible signs of neglect here and there. In the middle of the night there were loud noises like from a malfunctioned machine somewhere in the building that kept me awake for hours. The best thing I could say about the place apart from the location is the front personnel. My check-in was done quickly, and he seemed eager to help keep my luggages for a few hours after check-out. That said, I don't think I will come back here again.
