Mini Central (迷你中環)

Room was very small. Not fit for 2 people. There are no towels. When requested, front desk gave disposable towel (like large kitchen paper towel). Toilet is too small. Faucet sink is really really small. Smaller than a bond copy paper. Shower stall was flooding. When we asked for rugs or floor towel to dry the floor, front desk said they dont have any. We had to sweep the water with our feet to minimize flooding. Floor is dirty. TV is very small. TV has 3 stations. 2 chinese stations and 1 English stock market channel. Front receptionists barely speak English. The other clerk who speaks some English gives wrong information about tourist locations. They do not provide maps. Not helpful at all. Coffee we bought at the lobby was not hot and taste awful. We just threw it away. The bed was very uncomfotable. We can feel the spring coil when we lay down. It was horrible experience. I will not stay here even if it's free.

Good location

Clean, modern rooms and coffee in the lobby.

Property was old and outdated. Rooms were extremely small for 2 people to store luggage and move around at the same time. Restaurants in the area were limited to foreign restaurants and not many local options.

It even has a good view

We knew the room would be small and basic but expected it to be a lot cleaner. The walls were all marked and had dirt on them. There was mould throughout. Internet was patchy. Room smelt. Limited sound barrier with neighbouring rooms.

Just enough for a good, short stay.

Great location; personel very friendly everthing was great

Room is very basic, mattress uncomfortable, spent one transit night, didn’t sleep at all, due to jet lag. Shower poorly designed, one paper towel, not enough for showering twice. Front desk staff not courteous. Reasonably priced for what you get.

Customers service soo bad.

Not a hotel room you would want to spend a lot of time in and they have disposable paper towels and would have paid extra to rent a proper one but it’s in a good location and has a nice common area

By American standards it is a cultural shock. The bed took up the room with little space to move or keep suitcases. Still, the location was convenient for that part of trip. But there are several stairs to get into the building from there they have elevators. The laundry machines are on roof and require more stairs. Area around is hills and lots of stairs so be prepared and they provide disposable towels might want to bring your own as I did.

it was what you’d expect with a place cheap and small as this. the worst thing was the towels, i thought they’d at least provide normal towels but what they essentially give you is a large napkin to dry yourself. there’s also mold in the rooms and not even enough space to undo a check in bag. however, the location is great. definitely take an uber to get here though or you’ll risk climbing all the stairs with your luggage like i did lol

Great location with affordable price —that's basically all what this property offers, which is good for those who want a short term stay in HK (like a layover). There're quite a few aspects about the room condition that can be improved, but at least the cleaniness is ok. I just wanna particularly complian about the use of disposable towels.,

The room is super small, and I wasn't even able to unfold my big suitcase on the floor. The beddings were humid, and the air conditioner was noisy. The price was low, but I was still surprised by the condition. But the location is great, close to central in walking distance.
