The view of the glacier is stunning. The skylight and large window were perfect for viewing the northern lights. The hosts made us feel special on our honeymoon by hanging a congratulations banner. The room is large and the cooktop, tea kettle, and dishes were great for preparing a few meals.

Great view of Northern lights…. Please consider having other cabins’ outdoor lights turn off on a timer after a certain timeframe - we couldn’t figure out how to turn ours off. Also, the coffee pot leaks despite following instructions

Hotel was fine for one night, host just does not respond to messages on the app regarding our late checkout request. I was a bit let down by the limited hot water usage sign in the bathroom. This was not made clear during time of booking.

This is the perfect stay when visiting the diamond beach and glacier lagoon. There is an amazing langostine restaurant just 30 minutes up the road making this a convenient and affordable accommodation. The cabin was clean, comfortable, spacious and had a fully stocked kitchenette.

We had a great stay at the property. It’s conveniently located on our way to Hofn. Check in was seamless. Room is clean and bed is comfortable. There’s a small kitchen area to cook for dinner and breakfast.

Loved being able to see the glaciers and lupine through the window. Perfect little spot. Beds were comfortable!! Room was warm!! The sheep woke us up chatting in the morning (that’s a good thing, they are so cute!!). Little kitchenette was stocked with exactly what we needed to prepare a small meal for two. Mini fridge! Shower was great. Just have to keep showers short but that was fine.
