The rental units looked brand new. They put a lot of nice features into each cabin. Very modern feel. We enjoyed our stay!

Quite location near Höfn

This property is a gem of Iceland. The property is easy to find - the conods are the structures in the area. Driving from West to East - just turn left after the glacier foot - can't miss them! :D I received my entry code both in messages in e-mail and Expedia. The room was cozy, quiet, and serene. The kitchenette was much appreciated and included instructions for confused foreign tourists. My only (ultra-picky) complaints came from the desire for more bathroom shelf space, a shower wash cloth, and a roll of paper towel for kitchen spills. I look forward to staying here again and the view from the back will forever be a warm memory in my heart.

Cabin looked very modern. The view of the glacier was amazing. Located directly at the ring road but still quiet. Our host Stefan was very nice. It was very small. There was not enough space for both of our suitcases. We would have wished more equipent in the kitchen, concerning quantity of utensils. The porch lights of all cabins automatically burned throughout the entire night, which bothered us because we were hoping to see northern lights and thus left the blinds open. If you‘re coming from the glacier, be aware that hot water is limited.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer sind recht klein, sodass es mit 2 Koffern recht eng wurde, aber man bekommt das irgendwie hin. Alles war sauber, die Betten waren bequem und es war alles da was man braucht.

This was a cool place. Simple, cool clean lines. The units have a black exterior to match the general Icelandic vibe / volcanic roots and culture. The kitchenette with a fridge and little hot plate type set up seems like it would be useful. If you go to Höfn for dinner, Otto Matur and Drykkur was amazing, cute, quaint. The big picture window allowed for a beautiful view of the mountains and glacier, would have been nice had the northern lights been visible too. It’s about 30 minutes to Hofn which has a good number of restaurants or 30 minutes the other direction for diamond beach. Definitely would consider staying here again.

Logement tout équipé d’exception qui offre une vue à couper le souffle sur les paysages islandais et qui permet d’observer les aurores boréales sans même quitter le logement. Logement propre et moderne équipé d’une cuisine fonctionnelle. Literie confortable et salle de bain spacieuse. On oublie l’absence de télévision en observant les magnifiques paysages qui nous entourent.

It is clean and a great spot for catching aurora as there are many windows in the home - but we did not read the reviews beforehand and when we reached the welcome book said 5 minutes of hot water shower which isn’t great after we drove for 7 hours. The limitation of hot water is too short, my wife couldn't wash her hair during our stay there as she has long and thick hair which would definitely use up that 5 mins hot water and we would not want to shower in cold water in winter and fall sick during our holiday trip. Hope the host can extend the hot water duration so that the stay there is more enjoyable as it is definitely a nice cabin. 30mins would be easier to manage; 5mins felt like we’re in a military camp while on holiday 😭

It was a lovely, compact and amazing room with a roof window for northern light. However, the room I stayed the window wasn’t close properly due to a bent window frame.

So, they make you clean up the kitchen stuff before you leave, which is fine, but then they obviously don't check whoever came before you has done a proper job at it, so when we got there and realised some of the stuff was not clean we just couldn't trust any of it was, and had to clean it up before using it (aaand before checkout again). There's only 2 of each thing: 2 cups, 2 glasses, 2 forks, 2 spoons, and so on... so you better clean up right after using each thing if you'll be in a hurry to use it later. There is no space and no extra cup/glass to place the toothbrushes, so you'll be either using one of the 2 drinking glasses or yiu just gotta keep it in the bag every time. The view is nice, big windows that face the glacier on one side and the sunrise on the other (at least our cabin, number 3), so that was cool. The place is cozy, warm and comfortable in general, although the matresses are already overused, like, you sink in the middle.. this is something that we've been seeing a lot here in Iceland, so I guess it's the average? Oh well. The shower runs out of hot water after 10 or 15 min, so either make it quick or shower fast together. That was probably the most uncomfortable part. We wouldn't stay again for 3 nights, but for one night is a nice stop to make.

This room was beautiful and cozy! The heated bathroom floor was an added bonus. The team was very accommodating and polite with a special request. Definitely recommend!!!

Our stay was perfect, the guesthouse was in a great location and it was very clean and quiet, with everything we could need. We got lucky during our stay and could see the northern lights out of our back window - would definitely stay here again!

Great place !

Cozy, clean cabins with all basic amenities needed. Beds really comfy. Cabin nice and warm (stayed in December), hot water with good pressure. Self check-in was clearly explained and very simple. A WhatsApp number is given in arrival info in case of any issues. We cooked a simple meal in the cabin and enjoyed a cozy night in watching the Northern Lights through the fab picture window!
