The view was wonderful, we saw the northern light from our room. The food was good. The room was clean as well and comfortable.

The Lighthouse Hotel is in a beautiful and tranquil moss covered landscape/setting with the ocean nearby. The parking and check in were convenient and easy. The woman at the desk was very pleasant and forthcoming with helpful local and Northern Lights information (a map is available at the desk). The room and bed were comfortable and I slept well. They had a refrigerator, hand/body wash, and a hot kettle in the room. A tasty breakfast was included in the price of room. I would highly recommend the Lighthouse Hotel and I will consider staying here with all my future stopovers or stays in Iceland!!! Thank you for making a tired traveler feel welcome and comfortable.

Had the perfect stay at the Lighthouse Inn, as a family of three we were checked in by a lovely lady who was so helpful. The hotel was easy to find, plenty of parking and in a great location for the Northern Lights. Our room was spacious, warm, well equipped and very clean. We left too early to have breakfast but reception kindly provided us with a packed lunch. I highly recommend staying at this lovely hotel and to enjoy the beautiful church, old houses and the lighthouse, they all make the perfect photo especially if the Northern Lights are on display.

The Lighthouse Hotel is in a beautiful and tranquil moss covered landscape/setting with the ocean nearby. The parking and check in were convenient and easy. Really nice hotel and in a great location, and nice breakfast, friendly staff, so unfortunate that there were some kind of bugs in all of the beds. 1 person was bitten badly.

Lovely hotel with a warm welcome and great facilities. Very comfortable room, great free breakfast and really excellent dining in the evening.
We saw aurora literally from our bedroom window, and it was only a short walk to go over to the nearby lighthouses for an even better view.
Super convenient for Kefavlik airport.
Highly recommend.

Lovely peaceful cosy place to stay after a long day exploring. Staff very frirndly and helpful. We didnt manage to dine at the restaurant due to the days we stayed and our itinerary. The buffet breakfast was good my only criticism is there could have been a few more vegan options i.e. butter and yoghurt. But otherwise i would highly recommend this delightful hotel.

We had one night booked on the day due to its location. Stunning design and room was well equipped and large. Restaurant was lovely and the chef catered and adapted my fish dinner to be wheat free. We will be back.
