The DoubleTree Hilton in Ahmedabad might be compact, but it certainly makes a good impression. The room was cozy and offered a comfortable stay, though the breakfast buffet fell short of expectations compared to typical Indian hotel standards—the chai lacked flavor, and local specialties like fafda didn’t quite capture their authentic taste. On the bright side, the coffee shop behind the lobby stands out as a highlight, with courteous and attentive staff making the experience even better. The outdoor seating area is another gem, especially at night, staying open until 2 AM and offering a lovely ambiance. Despite its shortcomings, I would gladly choose to stay at this property again during future visits to Ahmedabad. Special mention to staff from coffee shop ‘Shobhit’ he is a great!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Ahmedabad, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality was evident. A special shout-out to Neha at the front desk, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine friendliness made all the difference. Neha handled all my queries with ease and provided helpful recommendations that enhanced my trip. The hotel itself is fantastic, with modern amenities, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere. The warm cookie at check-in was a delightful touch! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ahmedabad, and I look forward to staying here again. Very clean by American standards. Quite new as well. There are no communal places to eat as the cafe and restaurant are strict about only consuming their own food at the tables.

Enjoyed short stay in the hotel. Was clean and staff were helpful. Wasn’t impressed by some of the guests standing and eating around the buffet food when there were tables available. It seemed as they were business guests so the hotel staff allowed them to stand there instead of asking them to take a seat.

Reasonably priced. Good property. Require little more maintenance. BF spread was descent. Service was good.

The hotel was great, located on a major intersection near the ISKON temple road (and that area has many restaurants and shops), the room was furnished nice and comfortable, the food options (in-room dining, cafe, and restaurant) were nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the stay!

The air-conditioning didn't work properly on a hot summer day. They changed three rooms and it seemed like the air conditioning across the hotel didn't work. The staff was argumentative about the air conditioning and insisted it worked. The AC thermostat was stuck on 23.5 and didn't reduce after half an hour. I then asked them to get the air temperature gauge and it showed that their air conditioning was giving out air at approx 26 degrees celcius in all rooms. I eventually checked out in an hour and went to the Taj closeby. See photos attached.

Customer service is excellent, breakfast was nice, location is great, hotel claims to be a 5 star but the rooms don’t justify the 5 star tag, A/c vents are dirty and rooms have musty smell, had to change room the same night due to the bad odor from the vents since we had a baby less than a year old, the manager was kind and helped us change the room upstairs since it was available, the rooms however needs to have A/c tune up or replaced
