The Residency Tower

Checked in for 5 hrs before getting on a long flight. I made a reservation for myself, my 18 year old son and my 14 year old son. When making the reservation, I forgot to add 1 child to the reservation. When checking in, we were asked to pay 1000+rupees for an additional guest. I explained that we were only staying for a few hours and were not going to need any additional services. They had to check with management, etc, made us wait and unnecessarily argue before finally agreeing to give us the room without additional cost. Five hours later when checking out, I stopped at the front desk to turn in the room key and was again asked to wait for several minutes to get clearance from housekeeping before I could leave. I’ve never had to do that as part of checkout from any hotel anywhere. I will never return to this establishment again. The room was nice enough and relatively clean, a bit in the small side but no complaints there.

I travel widely around the world. I was really impressed by the quality of the service, the efficiency, and professionalism of the staff. The rooms were clean and high quality. The breakfast was excellent.

Every thing was perfect, Presidential Suit was excellent stayed there for 14 days, later has to Transfer in the Deluxe room, very spacious, but few things need to be looked upon we stayed in room no 603 Bathroom do not have sliding door or curtains, due to which all the bathing water splash through toilet area, which makes the thing messy, also light above the bed have a holding bracket is pointing out which could heart some one, need to be modified, rest everything was excellent, totally we stayed for 24 days was superb

The staff is extremely helpful! The hotel's central location made transportation very convenient. Would definitely return...

Room and corridor smelled musty. Staff was friendky. Wifi was too slow /intermittent. No views from room. Dirty exteriior. Breakfast buffet was ok.

1.The toilet could not be flushed again after the first use. 2. The breakfast which was supposed to start at 7.30am, which is already late for guests who need to start on a journey early in the morning, was not ready when we went down for breakfast at 7.30am. Several dishes were not available yet so we had a limited breakfast instead of a buffet braekfast.

It was amazing. From the moment I arrived till the moment I left all the staff were amazing. They helped with food recommendations, also the food at the hotel was amazing! The bar is perfect and friendly guests and staff. The room was always clean and housekeeping were great. Overall a great experience and would recommend to any traveller. I will definitely be coming back

Good communication and large clean room. Restaurant, bar & pool on site. Great service from the staff. Just starting to look a little tired in places, but thats if I'm being picky

This hotel is one of the classic 4 star hotels in tvm that lived up to expectations as I stated here once 15 years or so ago. Am delighted with the cleanliness, overall room amenities, staff service and quality has been awesome! The food has been excellent as well with breakfast buffet spread. The only thing I felt that could be improved is the level of chlorine in the swimming pool, which in my view is a bit high.

Hotel Residency Tower rooms, food, staff, service and vicinity were commendable. We stayed one night and had great breakfast on our way to Kovalam. Will stay again.
