My stay at ibis Balikpapan from March 29 to April 3, 2025 was truly memorable. I stayed in a Standard room with 1 Double Bed and was satisfied with the facilities offered. One of the things I admire the most is the location of this hotel. Strategically located with a close distance to the city center, making it easy for me to access various interesting places and needs while in Balikpapan. In addition, the environment around the hotel also feels comfortable and conducive. Access to and from the hotel is also very good, making my trip smoother. In terms of service and facilities, ibis Balikpapan also did not disappoint. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, creating a pleasant atmosphere during my stay. This hotel is also very family-friendly, making it suitable for those of you who are traveling with family members. The availability of good Wifi is also very helpful in staying connected. In addition, the choice of activities around the hotel adds value to my stay experience. The check-in and check-out processes also run quickly and efficiently, respecting the guests' time. Overall, I highly recommend ibis Balikpapan for anyone looking for a comfortable, strategic, and well-serviced accommodation in Balikpapan. My stay here really left a positive impression.

The room was nice and comfortable. The only downside was that when we arrived yesterday, all the soap was gone. Maybe they could check before guests check in. Oh yeah, and the TV wasn't a smart TV, so it couldn't access YouTube or Netflix, haha.

Overall, it was very good, but the food service at the pool was very slow. They should have put other customers' orders on hold if the current one hadn't arrived yet. It's a shame. Please fix this. Everything else is already very good.

The room and bathroom smelled bad, and the sheets and pillowcases were very smelly, as if they hadn't been changed after the previous guest checked out. My body was itchy and covered in hives. Issues like this should be addressed carefully, as they affect guest comfort. There's an additional charge for breakfast if you bring two children over 6 years old. The variety and taste of the food are average, as is typical for a 3-star hotel. Please be more careful with the eggs. I asked for boiled eggs but was given raw ones, fortunately I hadn't broken them.
