The staff was absolutely amazing. They offer a free shuttle service to and from town one round trip each day so if you want to be near central ubud but want peaceful nights away from the city this place is for you!

Our room was beautiful and quiet and the bed very comfortable .The staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Many thanks to Siwi for her kindness to my wife when she was sick with a cold. Her special “healthy drink” was delicious and very much appreciated. Also, special thanks to Ngurah for his kindness.

Ms. Siwi and Ms. Sri made this a very special stay. They were incredibly helpful in communicating prior to our arrival and they were accommodating and hospital during our short stay. They are the magic that made this a memorable stay. The hotel itself is small with not much social public areas. There is a lovely small pool which surprisingly was cold after the rain - a much welcome surprise given the humidity- very refreshing. The restaurant is a wide open air area below ground level. The chef prepares delicious meals and we particularly enjoyed the tumeric drink. The rooms are amazing. The hotel is basically a small reception area with an easy parking spot for cars to pull into and to pick up from, then a set of rooms on three levels (I think). Our rooms were on the ground with stunning views of the padi fields. The rooms themselves were very spacious. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom - the bathtub is enormous- the water pressure is excellent for showers and hot water is indeed hot. The room os beautifully furnished with dark woods and they provide lovely batik robes and comfy slippers. It was very relaxing. They also provide a free shuttle one a day per room to and from Ubud center. We were there during Christmas and traffic was just horrendous as many domestic tourists came with their cars. So it was quite a slog to get through the town. However, once we were at the hotel, all that disappeared. It was incredibly relaxing.

Absolutely loved our 5 nights at Junjungan Hotel!!!.staff was beyond amazing and went way above to ensure our stay was superb! Bed was the best we have enjoyed on many travels around the world!!! Highlight was sitting at night on our balcony and watching all the fireflies in the rice fields!!! Pure Magic!! 💖🌠❤️

Had a great stay at this small family run hotel. The room was spacious with a sitting area and a balcony. Its an old Balinese style hotel with lots of charm. The balcony overlooks a rice field. There is shuttle service to and from central Ubud since its a distance away. The staff were outstanding. I didnt visit the spa (think it was under construction) but i had an amazing massage in my room. Overall this property was well worth it for the price I paid.

Just Amazing. Staff is outstanding, they provide complimentary cab service to Ubud central. The staff is one of the most efficient and friendliest I have ever seen. I would only stay there if I ever visit Ubud again. Can not fault them or the place at all.

My stay at junjungan was fantastic & I recommend this property to everybody! The staff were incredibly kind & personable - all of them addressed me by name and were always doing their best to make sure their guests were happy. The property itself is beautiful & quaint, and the on-site restaurant is delicious & reasonably priced, I ate many of my meals there! My room was huge, bed was incredibly comfortable, & very clean. My stay at junjungan was fantastic- highly recommend this accommodation!
The only “bad” comment I have is that it is a bit out of walking distance to ubud- but the property offers a shuttle service with 2 drop points in ubud & gojek/grab services are available.

Jujungan was a great place to stay. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We had to miss breakfast due to an early tour and they prepared a small breakfast to take with us at 4am. They also replied quickly to our questions via Expedia message before our stay. Our shower was broken and they fixed it right away. The view in the back was beautiful. The shuttle is only 1 round trip per day so plan around that. Food was good. AC not that strong. Swimming pool is small and looked a bit dirty, we didn't see anyone use it. Lock on doors were different and felt a bit unsafe but there was always someone at the front which was reassuring. Other than that we enjoyed our stay at Junjungan.
