We had such a lovely time at this property. It is so beautiful- the buildings, the grounds, the pool, the beach, everything. We enjoyed wonderful massages and facials at the charming spa too. Breakfast was delightful, the restaurant for dinner was good, but the menu was a bit limiting for our family of 5. Rooms are clean and large, but I suggest they introduce more special, more unique toiletries like many high-end hotels in Italy. That special touch always seems to make the experience smell and feel better, especially when in the spa too. I highly recommend this property!

I have nothing negative to say about this place. I stayed for 4 night with my wife and 2 young children (6 and 7) and I was thrilled with my stay. Room was spacious and clean, the grounds are incredible, service is top notch and food is excellent. It's a splurge but very much worth it.

Beautiful and charming place and excellent amenities, the open spaces are incredible beautiful, I really enjoy the view for their gardens, pool and the beach is really comfortable and convenient. The staff was very friendly, the lady in front desk Flavia was excellent host. 100% recommend. Need rent a car to enjoy the towns around. Taormina is 30 min close to the hotel.. love Italy

Stunning property away from the crowds of Taormina, with beach access and great views of Mount Etna. Service was superb.
Breakfast and lunch were delicious. Dinner ambiance and service were incredible. Food presentation was out of this world, though the dishes were more beautiful than they were tasty.

This was the most amazing hotel… staff were so friendly and helpful. They could not have been more friendly or helpful.
The grounds were so charming and not too manicured but beautifully kept and tidy. The birdsong all day was just delightful.
The pool area was so clean & felt luxurious.
The smell through the hotel was gorgeous. Not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for and it was all worth it!
Only slight negative was the lack of plug sockets but given the property is over 300 years old it’s forgivable and was still very manageable!
And the AC was amazing which I did not expect given the age of the property!
We would return in a heartbeat!! And we got engaged here so would love to return!

We had a really lovely stay for 2 nights at this hotel. We stayed in an executive junior suite, it was the renovated room in the photos. The pool was very big and the grounds of the hotel are beautiful. Had a nice dinner at the restaurant and great cocktails at the bar. The hotel had an event on each night which was a bit noisy at times but it didn’t bother us at all, was fun to see what was going on. There’s a nice little casual seafood restaurant a short walk away if you wanted a change from the hotel. Breakfast omelette was good. The hotel doesn’t offer complementary drinking water (other than one bottle on arrival) so recommend stocking up before you arrive (or a short drive to local supermarket in Giardini Naxos). The beach is not a pretty sandy beach, we visited once but it was so painful under foot we didn’t return. Would highly recommend the hotel for a relaxing couple of nights.

Really beautiful property. The pool was a nice perk. The room was very spacious. I would suggest maybe a robe and slippers for guest. I have no complaints though. The staff were very friendly, food tasted wonderful and it was only maybe 15 minutes from Taormina.

Secluded oasis of peace and calm. Oozing with character. V well maintained. Ideally need rental car to fully appreciated the area. Plenty of local restaurant choices 10 mins drive. 25 mins to Taormina. Nice room (junior suite), plenty of space. Bit quirky re electrical points location. Soundproofing not 100% but was never a problem. Excellent bathroom. Breakfast average. Staff professional and attentive.
