We stayed here as a stop over and to break up our drive to Tuscany. We are so glad we did. The service was amazing. We had our two dogs who were made to feel incredibly welcome. The surrounding area is so beautiful and rustic. The pool area is beautiful and the breakfast was spot on.

We loved staying here! Amazing breakfast spread, tea time, and in an absolutely charming Italian village in the mountains. The hotel property is super nice with a little terrace that has a pool. Rooms were super comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would love to stay here for a few days longer next time, charming, idyllic, and peaceful! Highly recommend!

A Five Star B&B that has to experienced to be believed! Designed and managed by Elena and her mother, they have assembled a first class team of the most outgoing, friendly staff who work to make your time there unforgettable. From the food to the accommodations-par excellence!! The pool and gardens for time spent at the Relais or expert guidance to the local sights not to be missed- from the mountains to the sea. We loved the beach and also the walled village of Cervo. Imperial market was fun and lunch at the port with the wooden boats and grand yachts. Liguria is a treasure and home base of Relais del Maro is ideal.

The most lovely hotel and amazing hosts. We arrived late and had dinner at the local pizzaria with the locals, food was delicious. Our room was charming and so comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy. The village is absolutely beautiful. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful getaway from it all stay. So much attention to detail. Our fridge was not working and was replaced straight away even though it was a Sunday. Breakfast amazing with a little book to let you know where everything was made. Stunning!

Very lovely hotel in a quiet village. We loved everything about the hotel itself. If you're planning to get to the coast every day, though, it may not be the perfect choice, unless you're going directly to Imperia. We were heading to Laigueglia, which was a bit too long a drive (40 min) to be relaxing. Also, the restaurants in the immediate vicinity, while very charming (especially Ca Sottane), are of average food quality. If you're planning to spend some time away from the beach, Relais would be an excellent choice.

Wonderful inviting atmosphere by staff and owner. The duplex room was charming. Although it was on the smaller side, the high ceiling made it appear larger and spacious. Afternoon tea and breakfast was perfect. We plan to stay there again the next time we visit. Would highly recommend it.

This was our second visit to the Relais de Maro. It is an exceptional hotel with excellent service, well thought out rooms and a high quality breakfast. They offer complementary tea in the afternoon and it has a lovely garden and pool. They have rooms in houses spread around the village, but it is nicer to stay in the main house. Borgomaro is a quiet viillage but has two good restaurants and is very conveneient for touring the region.
