Hello People, If you want to visit the Fukumankan in Mihonoseki, so you should have a car also! Its a small village, no conbini! Busses comes, but not so often. The food is 90% fish! You should love fish! A kind Familie does own and work in the Hotel, the experience was amazing ! You need maybe 2 days for the walkingway in the mountains and the village ! So enjoy the Fukumankan ! Big Thank you :)

福間館の離れに通されました。海風が効率よく取り込まれるように作られているので、とても涼しかったです。目の前は港なので釣り客が多くかと言って騒がしいわけでもなく、とても静かで良かったです。恵比寿様を祀る美保神社。裏通りは夕飯が終わったあと手作り灯籠で道を照らしておりとても良かったです。夕飯の鰈の煮魚が4人行ってお頭付きが1尾だったのが気になりました。写真を掲載したいのですが投稿する場所がわからないので掲載できません。

事前連絡したところ、臨機応変に対応していただきました。周囲に食事できるような施設は無いので、一泊二食付で予約。夜のお刺身に大満足、朝のイカそうめんも甘い。煮魚も焼き魚も奇をてらったものではないし、他でも食べられるけど、美味しい。欲を言えば大浴場があると120点。温泉地ではないので仕方ないかな。

夕食をとらないでチェックインしたら、周囲にコンビニもレストランもカフェも皆無で、困惑しました。無理を言って宿で食事を作ってもらいましたが、メニューは海鮮丼のみ。 行かれる方は、あらかじめ夕食つきのプランにするか、境港あたりで夕食をすませてからお出かけください。 部屋は「離れ」で旅館から数百メートル離れた街中の空家をリフォームした二階建ての一軒家。それはそれで面白い経験でしたが、一人で泊まるにはちょっと持て余します。

例えば与謝野鉄幹、晶子も泊まった歴史ある、でもアットホームな落ち着けるお宿です。海の幸満載の食事。海に面した部屋からは、エメラルドグリーンの小湾を手に取るように眼下にして、遠く大山を望むことができ、冬の強風に流される雲が切れると日差しが海面をキラキラ！といったロケーションが最高。湾の奥に鎮座する美保神社は古事記の国譲り神話に深く由緒のあるお社で誠に荘厳なたたずまい。まさに宝石のようなパワースポット。

大変に伝統のある旅館で、エレベーターの到着時の揺れなど、古さは否めないが、できる限り手をかけて使っていこうという志を感じた。 食事は朝夕共に十分すぎる量が出てきた。魚をたくさん食べたい方は、かなり満足できると思う。お値段から言って期待してなかったが、蟹も一人につき一杯出てきたし、またグループ毎に焼いた魚の頭が出てきたのは嬉しかった。 古民家再生にも力を入れておられ、案内していただいて、興味深く見学することができた。 海に面した部屋からの眺めは大変良く、他に娯楽がなくとも漁村の風情を眺めていると退屈せずに過ごせた。 また隣にある神社も崇敬が厚く、興味のある方は朝夕のおつとめを見学されたら良いと思う。

3人で泊まりましたが、部屋はとても広く、部屋にはドライヤーや冷蔵庫、ポットなどがありとても便利でした。ただ、周りにはコンビニや飲食店は無いため、食事するためには車で15分ほどの隣の町まで行かなければなりませんでした。ホテルには朝食がついており、とても美味しかったです。
