The room I stayed in was spacious enough for three or four people and offered a stunning view of Mt. Fuji—truly a highlight. The property also provides convenient bicycle rentals, perfect for exploring the town at your own pace. For those who prefer walking, both Kawaguchiko Station and Chureito Pagoda are within comfortable walking distance. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious.

We booked the room with a view of Mt. Fuji and it was magnificent! The room was big and cozy, and the tatami area gives us a space to chill and relax at that corner after a long day. Even though the breakfast menu served daily is the same, the food is as delicious every day. I enjoyed their Japanese breakfast set and their sandwich set. We thought we needed to buy water, but to our surprise, the hotel is very well equipped with a water dispenser! Hot water is also available at the top floor too. Staff at HAOSTAY were very friendly and approachable. We always asked for extra towels because housekeeping was only done every 3 days and the team is very giving to our requests. Ample parking space is available behind the hotel, and it is very easy to park too. Thank you for hosting and serving us at HAOSTAY. We will definitely stay at HAOSTAY again when we're in the vicinity again.

The room was very clean and super spacious which is hard to find in japan! I would definitely recommend booking a room with Mt Fuji view as waking up to the view each morning was priceless! They have a free shuttle to the station in the morning too which is convenient. It’s walkable to local recommended restaurants but is quite dark so for 600¥ Ubers are also an option! You can even hire bikes during the day from the hotel. I would recommend this place to others and stay again if I return to the area. Thanks

Friendly service. Excellent amenities including shuttle to train station and breakfast. Beautiful view of Mt Fuji from our room and rooftop. If we hadn’t stayed here we would have missed seeing Mr. Fuji since it was cloudy and raining. We happened to look out our room window to see a glimpse and rushed to the rooftop to see its wondrous sight.

The room was big even for 3 guests. We love the tatami section in the room. Staff were polite and helpful with the check-in as well as answering some questions about transportation from the hotel to the train station.
Some areas of improvement. Add 1 or 2 more vans for transporting the guests between the hotel and train station. Allow the guests to set the air conditioning unit to be able to cool the room (we were told that the unit has been set to only blow warm air given that it was late autumn).

Initially, it wasn't easy to speak with the staff as we do not speak Japanese. The rooms were a little worn down with stained carpet. When we asked for help after we checked in, the team was very responsive.
