Highly recommended stay at Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka! The location is very convenient, with direct access and close proximity to the station, making it easy to travel around Osaka. It’s also within walking distance to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi for shopping, food, and sightseeing. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are very friendly. Perfect for both first-time visitors and anyone looking for a hassle-free stay in Osaka. Would definitely stay here again 😊

Hotel was as advertised very beautiful with excellent staff. Corner room was a bit larger and fit 4 comfortably. Location was steps from Namba station, Dotonbori and direct connection to underground Namba Walk as well as OCAT bus terminal and airport limousine. Very happy stay.

The hotel made a good first impression overall. One thing we found a bit unusual was that the reception and check-in area were located on the 22nd floor rather than the main level. The property also featured a charming church on-site where weddings were held, which added a unique touch to the hotel. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of options to choose from each morning. The bed and pillows were average—comfortable enough, but nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, our biggest issue involved misinformation from the hotel staff regarding our flight. Due to the approaching typhoon, we asked two different staff members whether our flight had been canceled, and both confirmed that it had. Based on this information, we extended our hotel stay. To our surprise, we later received an email from the airline asking us to check in for our scheduled flight, indicating that it had not been canceled after all. This situation was frustrating and resulted in unnecessary stress and additional expense. While the hotel had several positive aspects, our experience was overshadowed by the inaccurate information we received regarding our travel plans.

Here’s a polished 3 star review you can use: The pictures online are beautiful, and the hotel makes a strong first impression when you walk in. The high-rise building feels elegant and peaceful, and the view is beautiful. Reception is on the 22nd floor, then you take a second elevator to reach the rooms. The location is very convenient near the train station, which was a plus. However, overall, we were not impressed. There were four of us, and the room was advertised as a suite with two additional twin beds, but those extra beds felt more like cots. The room itself was very small, felt outdated, and did not match the impression from the online photos. It was quiet and in a nice location, but the room was not impressive enough for us. Overall, I would give it 3 stars.

Overall a great stay. Just one serious issue the power scenario in the room was terrible - only 1 USB port could be used at a time (2 total). Type 2 outlet only - so if you are equiped for Tokyo where type 1 seems to prevail you are in big trouble. To boot they even told us only 1 ‘appliance could be used at a time’ this is well below par!!!

My fave hotel to stay when in Osaka, superb location, next to OCAT station, subways and kintetsu trains… walking distance to dotombori and Shinsaibashi plus near by malls. Point to note, rooms are of decent size but are those dimmed lights, English style design (rather dated). Toilets are alright just be careful when getting in and out from the tub. Cleanliness a bit disappointing this time round, there were hairs on the bed. But then again it will still be my go to hotel when in Osaka
