The rooms and especially the bathrooms are very small and tight, even for two people. However the location made it worth it, it was so easy to travel to/from, whether it be walking, subway or bus! We loved the closeness to everything. It was connected to a Starbucks and had 7-11 right there too, easy for grab and go items before beginning our days.

Our stay at your Hotel was fantastic, The rooms were lovely comfortable and the Hotel position was ideal for shopping and site seeing , close to the train station. The staff were kind and helpful even lending us a stroller for our grandson as there wasn’t any hire place close by . Thankyou for our comfortable stay will recommend your Hotel for others if they visit Kyoto .

The location was great, close to Nishiki Market area. Very close to Shijo Subway Station. The staff was very helpful. I left behind a cell phone at the airport and I had to have them ship to this hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful and agreed to pay upon receiving, knowing that I'll pay them back when I got there.
Only thing that would have made it even better was the drink availability in the room. They had green tea packets but no coffee packets. I'm a coffee drinker and enjoy having a cup of coffee upon waking up. It was not a big deal, though. Everything else was amazing.

Location was excellent as it was very close to the subway. Starbucks was located beside the hotel - definitely a bonus. This is an older hotel so rooms are a bit dated, however, they are spacious compared to other Japanese hotels.

The location was prime and central to everything but the central heating was so old that the rooms were like saunas. No individual room temperature controls. Everyone was so uncomfortable, no one slept well for three nights that we stayed there. We ended up getting a fan but the room was still stuffy and dry.

Room was very good. The only downside was the fact that we were on the smoking floor however the odor did not enter the room. Just after a long day of walking and smelling the smoke wasn’t the best! The room quality, beds and bathroom were really great! Location was spot on! Easy to walk around.
