Beautiful and great location

Very good location for the money. Location is not in Main district but for value it’s 100% a deal! Rooms are large and clean and staff is great. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful 2-day stay in the hotel. Staff was very friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was also excellent.

Amazing place to stay. The people working here are extremely friendly and helpful. The room is really comfortable, beds were perfect. I like a nice and firm mattress so it suited me perfectly. The whole atmosphere is relaxing and it’s exactly what u need when coming back from a full day of sightseeing and heaps of walking.

Pretty decent but the shuttle wasbt

The hotel rooms are ok. The staff I spoke with for check in/check out were ok. However, there were a number of issues which left me deeply disappointed. First, the hotel claims to run a convenient shuttle between the hotel and Kyoto station. The management of this shuttle is terrible. We once tried to take the shuttle from the station. As we came up, the shuttle left before scheduled departure time. I ran to catch up and get the driver’s attention. He saw me, waved me off, and drove away. On another day, we tried to take the shuttle from the hotel. Because it was raining, the shuttle filled and we weren’t able to get a spot. Instead of providing a second shuttle, they told us to get a taxi. They care about being able to say they run a shuttle but not about actually making things convenient. The bigger issue came after. (Please bear with me. This is not about the hotel, but it is relevant) The hotel set us up with a taxi to the station. We asked to go to the front of the station. The driver decided to take us to the BACK because there is a clearer Shinkansen entrance there. When I saw he was going the wrong direction, I told him we needed to go to the front. He dismissed me. When we arrived, he kept the meter running as he unloaded. Very scammy. Since the hotel probably contracts with cabs, I wrote to the hotel with the name of the driver and told them what happened. They wrote back saying it was reasonable for the driver to ignore our instructions. Disgusting!

The premium rooms are spacious for Japan and stylish. Beds are comfortable and Tempur pillows were good. Only negative, they would not allow you to take drinks purchased from the bar to your room which was disappointing

Wonderful hotel with fantastic staff

Gorgeous hotel near Kyoto Station. The Complimentary shuttle was so helpful. Also close to bus stops, and walkable. We loved the restaurant in the Lobby, went three times. Kid friendly. They loved the spaghetti. Also a vegetarian friendly option. A Lawson across the street for beauty and snacks. Staff was helpful and kind. Gorgeous Zen water space. Would definitely stay here again.

My partner and I came here on our honeymoon and felt incredibly looked after by the team. It was a massive plus having a decent sized premium room, a free shuttle bus to the train station and early luggage drop offs. We highly recommend booking a premium room, as we had access to a special premium lounge which had daily afternoon tea, snacks and alcohol readily available to unwind after a long day

Best hotel in Kyoto. Beautiful rooms, lobby and great hotel bar.

Staff was attentive and very helpful

Room is clean, nice and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Hotel provides nice toiletries, including nice toothpaste, comb, slippers, and a free and complete set of facial care products. Complimentary breakfast has a delicious variety of Asian and Western items. Free bottled mineral waters are provided everyday as well. Hotel personnel’s are very polite and helpful to give instructions and help out with luggages. The doormen promptly help you to find taxi drivers. Hotel has free shuttle to and from Kyoto station. Would love to stay here again!
