대중교통으로도 도보로도 중심지와 관광지에 인접해 있어 좋았습니다.
(시내까지 도보로 약 20~25분, 버스로 5~10분 정도의 거리/ 교토역에서는 버스로 10분 정도 떨어져있습니다.)
북적이는 시내 한 가운데 위치해 있지 않다 보니, 교토 시민들이 일상적으로 생활하는 모습을 느낄 수 있어 더 좋았습니다.
숙소 근처에 아주 맛있는 음식점들과 저렴한 맥주집, 마트와 편의점도 있어 편리했구요.
숙박 형태는 게스트하우스 형태로 다른 관광객들과 함께 사용해야 했지만 각자의 숙박공간은 독립적으로 사용할 수 있도록 잘 되어있었습니다.
(예약 전에는 호텔이라고 적혀있어 다른 숙박객들도 함께 이용하는지 몰랐습니다. 이 점 꼭 참고하세요.)
전체적으로는 청결했지만 약간의 건조함과 먼지로 인해 불편함을 느끼실 수도 있을 것 같습니다.
만약 지내시는 동안 안쪽 침실을 사용하시게 된다면 일본식 정원과 함께 아주 멋진 경험을 하실 수 있으리라고 생각됩니다.

First- do not be fooled by the beautiful pictures, the reality is not so.
We arrived at the hotel at 4:00, just before they said we could check in. No one was at the door or the home. We found a large vase with a cell phone inside and some directions about having a door code that should have been emailed to us...it was not. We had to wait till 4:30 to be able to get anyone on the line. Once we did they helped us get into the building and explained what room we were in and that we had to pay for our towels. The place had rickety steps, spiders everything (and big ones), and it smelled like old paper and mold. The shower was abysmal, one of the toilets was outside, no locks on doors, and no in room safe. It looked like the place may have been nice 30 years ago, but was now in disrepair. We had no idea who would be staying in the home and who could have access to our things. It was terrible. We used the cell phone to book another place to stay and left after less than an hour. I will never ever stay here again.

It was an experience and am glad we tried it. Although it was kind of weird sharing the home with strangers, I guess since we just went to sleep and not stay there too long it was not bad. The house is very good condition and you get to experience Kyoto style living. Very quiet and you are with the locals. The only thing is that we never saw the person in charge so we took the room that we liked best. Although you may sleep on the floor the mattress is really comfortable and there is air conditioning and wifi so it was great. The bathrooms were modern.

The ryokan is lovely. Great location, with a bike rental place at the end of the street, for 500 yen per day. The one recommended in the room compendium is miles away!
We had the three bedroom, upstairs room, with a view of the traditional garden below. The room is simple but sufficient, and is heated. Electric blankets are freely available for use in your futon! You must however, pay an extra 200 yen to rent a towel, as they are not included.
The shared kitchen and bathrooms are modern and clean spaces. They are however not heated, at all, and are UNBEARABLY cold in winter. I would only stay here again in summer.

J'ai adorer la chambre avec tatami et futon. Très traditionnel et confortable. Cepandant l'état de la salle de bain trop ancienne manquais de confort et de propreté. Mais le reste était très bien, très propre et joli.
Je ne m'attendais pas à ce que ce soit un share house. Du coup j'étais un peu déçue.
Je n'ai pas rencontré le personnel. Donc je ne peux pas noter son hospitalité.

何度か電話したがチェックイン時間前は、繋がりませんでした。
また、時期によってキャンセルができないようなので、注意が必要です。
2階の部屋に向かう階段は、昔ながらのの階段になるので、大きなスーツケースを持つ旅行者には不向きだと思います。
京都の町屋に泊まるという目的がないと、おススメできません。
残念なホテルでした。

静かでゆったりくつろげて、プライベート感があって良かったです。シャワーのお湯が出ず、朝になって他の利用者が連絡を入れてようやくお湯が使えるようになったので、そういう事が無ければ更に良かったと思います。

There are a lot of better and cheaper places around here.

こちらの宿はおすすめしません。
私は普段はズボラで全く神経質では無いのですが、それでも限界を超えていると思っての投稿です。
とても古い建物です。京都っぽい雰囲気はあります。部屋は埃っぽくて微妙でした。古い雰囲気ではなく、残念ながら古いだけでした。
シャワーも共同で２つしかなく、１つはとても古くてカビだらけです。シャワーカーテンはカビが酷くて気持ち悪くなりました。
部屋は鍵が掛かるとは言っても障子だけで、すぐに取り外せる状態でセキュリティ面も不安でした。
スタッフは常駐しておらず、入口から電話を掛けるシステムですが、対応も微妙でした。
布団も3つ分の料金をお支払いしてましたが、2つしかありませんでした。
シャワーなどに使うタオルも全てレンタルでお金が掛かります。アメニティーやティッシュすら部屋にありません。
安い宿なら仕方がないと思いますが、周辺ホテルと殆ど変わりのない値段で、値段に見合うクオリティはないです。
せっかくのお休みに家族と過ごすので、周辺のゲストハウスよりも少しお値段の高いところを選びましたが、間違いでした。他にもっと安くて素敵な場所はいっぱいあると思います。
せっかく趣のある場所なので、セキュリティと衛生面を改善して、外国人の方にも日本のおもてなしを感じて頂けるよう努力して欲しいです。奥のトイレとシャワーは本当に汚いです。お金を取るのだから、きちんとやるべきだと思います。

如果你不想要和旅客間溝通就不要訂這間民宿，第一天入住就給兩位操流利國語女生評量般看著你，之後很大聲的在房間討論我間朋友之間的事。房間隔音超差的，其他房客出入你一定會聽得到。廁所不是免洗馬桶，和式浴室很糟糕，。木地板在行走時常發出悲鳴。最重要check out時間在早上10點，超級早的，都不體諒旅客感受。房間內沒有衛生紙提供。
房門是不能鎖的，很介意隱私的千萬不要租。
這房價真的對不對這價格。
