Elephant Bedroom Camp

Elephant Bedroom is a luxury tented camp that provides great individual service for its guests. We had a wonderful guide on our game drives who was sensitive to our wishes as photographers. The only drawback is that electricity is only available in the camp at certain times of the day which means that battery charging has to be carefully planned and it is important to bring spares if you are a heavy user.

If you want to be in the middle of elephants, this is the place. Luxurious accommodations, not outstanding food but certainly decent, great game drives - definitely use their service at least once over self-drive as they are excellent spotters. It is important to note that the elephants come to the campsite during the day, so two night's stay is recommended or at least come early in the morning if staying one night and hang out prior to check-in to experience living among the elephants.

This lodge is out of this world. Beautiful setting, surrounded by nature. Tent incredible, Staff fantastic and so attentive. Food fabulous. Game drive with our guide great fun, he was so knowledgeable and we saw everything including Leopard.

We have just come back from Samburu where we stayed at the Elephant Bedroom Camp, a small, unfenced camp on the river. As the camp is unfenced one has the opportunity to see elephants come into camp to browse - it did not happen this time but last time we were there is was amazing to see an elephant just move around camp. The very friendly and safety-conscious staff does make sure you keep a safe distance from these beautiful creatures of course. The tents are very comfortable and the staff go out of their way to serve and be helpful. The conservancy is amazing - good opportunity for spectacular leopard sightings.

A wonderful camp with Elephants around, nature pure! The staff is very nice and protecting. The food great!! Only the toilet...it works but flushing was sometimes difficult... Still, I will return to this beautiful place.
