Best hotel in Kuah but no beach here
We had a great experience staying at this hotel. We were here to support the SEA Games sailing event happening nearby. Location-wise, it's unbeatable. There's a large shopping mall (Langkawi Parade) 3min walk away and surrounded by many shops including various nick-nacks stalls and laundry shops. It's also right next to Persiaran Mutiara where all the good restaurants and seafood is. Must try the street side burger stall located on the stretch to Langkawi Parade. This hotel is in the Kuah, the commercial heart of Langkawi and you are not going to find a beach here. Many people complain about this in reviews. If you would like a beach holiday, there are many hotels in Cenang Beach (Pantai Cenang) in the west. It's at least a 30min drive away from Adya. Cenang would be similar to Patong (Phuket) or Kuta (Bali). If you would like something more upmarket, there's the Four Seasons and The Datai up in the north. At Adya, we found the breakfast spread good and of decent quality. We were here for 8 nights and didn't feel too tired of the food as there was sufficient variety. Not everything was of the highest quality but after a while, we came to know of which dishes were better than others. They served freshly baked croissants which ran out almost as quickly as they came out of the oven. And of course, there was freshly made roti canai. Staff were friendly and helpful. There was no problem communicating in English. We are always greeted with a smile as we came down to the reception. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Note that this is an Islamic hotel so no alcohol is served and food is halal and also you can expect a lot of guests from the middle east. What's not so good is the swimming pool (too small I felt) although they have a separate ladies only swimming pool. Ladies can of course swim in the main pool if they choose to do so. They are however not very much different in size. The gym was not well equipped and not cold enough I felt.

NICE HOTEL
really nice Hotel. Stuff were amazing. they are polite and respect your religion. KFC was just outside the hotel and it is working 24 hours :). Breakfast was delicious and many options are available. My only issue that it is far from the beach...

Bday treat
Birthday treat for my husband. Wanted a hotel near to the chocolate - duty free shop HIG complex. We were greeted with Salam by the receptionist and the bellboys. Seems like everyone was nice. The breakfast spread was good. Enjoyed their omelette. Parking space is provided but limited. However, they have a space further up of the hotel. Will recommended it to others.

Pleasant Stay
My husband and I both had no complaints about this hotel. The room was good, the TV was a good size and the viewing options quite good. We booked a hire car and mangrove tour with the hotel and the consultants were helpful. The breakfast options were very good. We loved the delicious croissants, these are now our benchmark. We also liked the fresh cooked roti and omelettes. The ladies pool was ok, could be made nicer if the garden and decor were improved.

Good location
This hotel is located in the middle of langkawi. Very convenient to travel to any location in langkawi. Hotel is quite new but you will be surprised that the conditions doesn't look as new as it should be. Staff mostly friendly but not with the lady when we check in, we got welcome with grumpy face and confused on your booking date. Never every try their spa massage, it was a horrible experience. Staff was not well train and keep checking on the time while giving us foot massage. I could pay the same price outside and get a more experience staff. Breakfast was good, plenty of choice if you like Malaysian food. Room is ok just not so well kept, kettle and some light bulbs was broken. For the price they charge can get a better deal in langkawi.
