Unique experience
Enjoyed staying here for 1 night in October. Staff very friendly and welcoming, facilities basic (as you would imagine for the location) food was surprisingly good. A/C goes off after 10 pm but I was so tired I hardly noticed. We were lucky with the weather but bring waterproofs just case.

Amazing experience
My husband and I stayed here for one night during our 2 week Malaysian adventure. What a great place!!! You really feel at one with nature and away from the stresses of everyday life. Our lodge was described as basic, but it had everything we needed (including air-conditioning and a ceiling fan) and was surprisingly comfortable. The food was delicious and authentic. The staff were welcoming. The highlight was the boat tour on the Kinabatangan river. We saw proboscis monkeys, macaques, various birds and an orangutan - amazing!!! Our guide Jack was fantastic and really knowledgeable. Overall it was a really special experience and I would definitely recommend staying at the Borneo Nature Lodge.

Brilliant guide ,
We were incredibly lucky to have been allocated Rusli as our tour guide, he is a remarkable person, incredibly knowledgable and phenomenally well read , his enthusiasm is contagious . The boat cruise was spectacular We were lucky enough to see Elephants, Hornbills , a Crocodile , Proboscis monkeys plus other primates, I could not recommend him highly enough. He was very flexible and responded brilliantly to the needs of the group. The lodge rooms are basic, food wasn’t haute cuisine, but tasty and nourishing, staff were lovely. If you need a dark room to sleep , I would recommend taking some eye flaps , curtains were not the best. We had a great time.

Great Lodge in the Jungle!
Everything about our 2 night stay was magical! The boat ride to reach the lodge, the friendly staff, laid-back atmosphere, great local food for lunch and dinner and what can I say about the jungle river cruises... We saw more wild wildlife than we ever imagined - this was our kids favourite stop on our holiday, they loved the jungle, the feeling of adventure and the wild orangutans, monkeys and crocs. Amazing location and great lodge. Thank you

Welcome to the Jungle!!
Stayed at the Lodge overnight as part of our Honeymoon in August. Laid back atmosphere and friendly staff. Its a fifteen minute boat trip to the Lodge which is amazing in itself and gives you a true appreciation of your location in the Borneo jungle. Met some cool people and even cooler animals!! Love, love, loved it!!! JUST GO!
