Boutel Orchard

Boutel Orchard is where organic permaculture durian orchard situated. Within its 5-acre area of the orchard, they do not use any chemicals or pesticide. Everything there in the Boutel Orchard is organic. Thus, you can have a unique durian experience here in Boutel Orchard. They said their durian is not like others as it would not cause any heat problem. Not only that, they also have a food forest for growing vegetables. Boutel Orchard is located at Kampung Baharu Teras, Raub District, Pahang. It easy to access to the city centre from Boutel Orchard which make it perfect for stay either for vacation or business purposes.

How to Get to Boutel Orchard

It is easy to get to Boutel Orchard. If you are coming from Subang Airport, it will take 90 minute of driving. If you are coming from Fraser Hill, the journey will take about 50 minute. If you are bringing your own transportation, you can come from Plaza Toll Gombak and then take Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur - Gua Musang/E8 to Route 218 in Bentong for 57 min (60.9 km) and Head west on Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur - Gua Musang/E8 before taking the exit toward Pelabuhan Klang/Seremban/Jln. Hulu Kelang/Ampang. After that, merge onto Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2/Route 28 and then take the Jln. Taman Melati exit toward UIAM before turning right onto Jalan Taman Melati. Turn right to merge onto Jalan Lingkaran Tengah 2/Route 28 and use the left lane to merge onto Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur - Gua Musang/E8 via the ramp to Kuantan. Take exit 808-Bentong Barat toward Route 8/Bentong/Raub/Kuala Lipis. Keep right at the fork to continue toward Jalan Kuala Lumpur/Route 68 and then turn right onto Jalan Kuala Lumpur/Route 68. After that, turn left onto Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur - Gua Musang/Route 8 and continue to follow Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur - Gua Musang. Use any lane to turn left onto Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur - Gua Musang/Route 8 and follow the route to reach Boutel Orchard.

Different Types of Rooms in Boutel Orchard

There are two types of Room here in Boutel Orchard. They have Honeycomb Pods and Cube Cabin.

For Honeycomb Pods, there are a total of 3 pods that stacked together. The design is very unique that will give you the experience of camping experience without you to stay under a tent. The pods shape is similar to the honeycomb, that is the reason why it is called honeycomb pods. Each pod has the same amenities. It has a power outlet to be used with your electrical appliances, exhaust fan, blowing fan and light. The pod can fit up to 3 adults in a pod, or 2 adults with 2 kids for you to have a comfortable stay there. However, it is very perfect for a couple.

There are shared bathrooms and toilets nearby the pods which made of bamboo that can be used by the guest. The water source is coming from the mountain and it is filtered. The Boutel Orchard also provide the guest with toilet papers, shampoo and body shampoo. However, they do not provide flash light, portable fan to start fire outside and towels.

Cube Cabin is more luxurious than the Honeycomb Pods as it has an attached bathroom inside. They also have a simple pantry which comes with plates, cups, and kettle. The cabin also has a dining table which is suitable for 4 people. Inside, the cabin has a 2 queen beds and 1 bean bag. 5 adults in total can fit the cabin at one time. This cabin has a very nice view of the hill as the cabin do not have a curtain. It is created like that so that you can enjoy the spectacular outdoor view from the cabin. There are a lot of durian trees surrounding the cabin. The distance between Honeycomb Pods and Cube Cabin is just 20 feet away.

Restaurants and Cafes in Boutel Orchard

There are no restaurants and cafes here in Boutel Orchard. They are also no meals provided, but you can bring you cooking stuff to cook there as there are barbecue pits that can be use around the camping area. Not only that, you are in an orchard. Be sure to taste all the fruits available there. There are mangosteen, durian, rambutan, banana and papaya. All of the fruits are organically cultivated which is safe for you.

Facilities and Activities in Boutel Orchard

If you are driving to Boutel orchard, free parking is given to the guests. While here, you can explore the orchard and enjoying the environment which is totally different from what you had in the city. You also can enjoy fishing here in Boutel Orchard. Last but not least, you can do barbecue.
