It was definitely one sweet and unforgettable stay. The Club Room is equipped with iron and iron board, free WiFi (super fast), free laundry for 4pcs of clothes, luxury toilet with motorized blinds and hot water. The king size bed was really cozy. Swimming pool is big and clean. Foods are delicious. Best customer service. Will recommend my friends to come here. Thanks Dorsett Grand Subang.

Hot water is consistently hot. Awesome stay for that. Service is okay. Parking rm3 per entry. For a 5 star, I expect to at least provide free parking. And there has been a problem with the access card. Tey blames it on the engineering side. I read the review before and the same stuff was commented on by other people. And yet no improvement. But after informing them, then they did something, maybe reset the card, and it was okay aft tat. Kindly downgrade to 4star. They provide better service. Otherwise all are good in terms of make up the room/service of the receptionist/nearby food location /lrt subang.

Due to the flight schedule I arrived earlier but was requested to wait for almost 2.5 hours. I understand the check in time is 3 pm. And was not inform or to take the initiative to call me by the front desk receptionist once the room is ready. I need to called them at 1pm to check on the availability instead of this is their duty. Hope this sort of issue can be improve in future. I noticed that sometimes our comment is not taking into consideration as this issue not only happened once to me.

Room was very nice, clean and spacious. 👍 However, only 1 glass provided and had asked Guest Service to send another one and a prayer mat. Was delivered fast, thanks. Now, the cons. First, had to pay for parking everytime going out. Guests should be given complimentary parking, not a discount. Second, breakfast spread is simple. Not worth the extra payment. Not even baked beans served, and no eggs station. Third, guests don't feel welcome at the reception counter. Other 4 or 5 star hotels will greet you with a smile, speak politely and looks like they are happy to have you as their guest. But not this hotel.

The rest are OK as below. Maintenance department need to pay more attention & monitor (routine check) all the necessary items in the room. Shower hose (broken), most of the bulbs in the room are out of order.

How to get to Dorsett Grand Subang

If you are not familiar with the area, you might find it difficult to find the hotel, but it is actually relatively easy because Dorsett Grand Subang is very close to some prominent landmark that you can use to pinpoint your way to the hotel in no time. If you are using air transportation, there are two main airports you might come from, the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) or the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport or locally known as Subang Airport. From KLIA, the distance to the hotel is around 43 km. This will take about 42 minutes for you to reach the hotel. From Subang Airport, the distance to the hotel is around 12.6 km. This will take about 16 minutes for you to reach the hotel. Keep in mind that the estimated time of arrival might change due to traffic conditions in the area around the time of your journey. You can expect a several minutes delay if the traffic was not being friendly that day. If you choose to take the train instead, your target train is the KTMB train, and your target station is the Subang Jaya Station, Setia Jaya Station and Seri Setia Station. Subang Jaya Station is 1 km from the hotel, Setia Jaya Station is 1.7 km from the hotel and Seri Setia Station is 2.9 km from the hotel. Those three stations are the closest to Dorsett Grand Subang.

If you have difficulty finding the stations, you can look out for other prominent landmarks like the Subang Jaya Medical Centre, Westminster International College and Masjid Darul Ehsan Subang Jaya (MDESJ). If you stumble upon these landmarks, you will know that the Dorsett Grand Subang is just nearby.

The restaurant offers authentic Cantonese cuisine in a setting that comprises various beautiful paintings around. The operation hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM which comprises of lunch session from 12:00 PM to 2:30 PM from Mondays to Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Sundays and public holidays and dinner from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM daily.

Cafe Aroma is an in-hotel restaurant that shows elegant modern designed setting for guests to enjoy their lunch and dinner.
