Fenix Inn is a budget hotel that is located in the middle of Melaka town. Though it is a budget hotel, with rates for a night among the lowest at the location, the Fenix Inn offers such a great deal for their rooms. The rooms are spacious, the services offered by the hotel are on par with the expensive hotel and the location is strategic. How to Get to Fenix Inn

Fenix Inn is located in the middle of Bandaraya Melaka thus the access to it is very easy. The Fenix Inn is located just beside the Dataran Pahlawan; one of Melaka’s famous malls. By driving, it is almost three kilometres away due to the one-way streets that separate the Fenix Inn and the Dataran Pahlawan Mall but by walking, the distance between these two is not even a hundred meters. For those who are driving from Kuala Lumpur, it will take just two hours to reach the Fenix Inn via the North-South Highway. Taking a bus from Kuala Lumpur is also a good choice to travel to Melaka. There are daily buses travelling from the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan, Kuala Lumpur to Melaka. A ticket starts from as low as RM 10. All of the express buses will stop at the Melaka Sentral Bus Terminal, just eight kilometres away from the Fenix Inn. There are taxis available at the Melaka Sentral, just make sure to hop into the ones that are using the meter to calculate fare for the trip.

Different Types of Room in the Fenix Inn

The Fenix Inn has four types of rooms at their hotel. The first room at the Fenix Inn is the Superior type. The Superior rooms come in a 16-sqm of space, with a choice to either have a Queen-sized bed or two Twin-sized beds. The Superior starts from RM 108 a night and they are perfect for a single traveller or a couple. Next is the Family Suite; a 25-sqm room with one Queen bed and one Single bed. The Family Suite is perfect for a family of three and it starts from RM 148 a night. For a bigger family, it is recommended to get the Family Quad type room. It is bigger at 28-sqm and has two Queen beds. It is RM 178 a night. If travelling with a bigger pack or maybe looking for extra spaces, choose the Premier Apartment of the Fenix Inn. It is RM 258 a night with 70-sqm of space. The Premier Apartment has two bedrooms; the Master room has the Double bed while two Single beds in the second room. The Premier Apartment is a fully furnished unit, with a living room and a dining room. The kitchen in the apartment is equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave and a small stove. The apartment is RM 258 a night.

All of the rooms at the Fenix Inn is equipped with basic in-room amenities such as a flat-screen television, a coffee/tea maker set, complimentary bottled water, and a writing desk. Only the Premier Apartment has extra amenities such as mentioned above.

The Fenix Inn does not have any in-house eateries. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes located nearby, some are even within the walking distance to the Fenix Inn.
