Bathroom too small and bad bed condition.
I love this place and I will be back again
Bad towels. Beware if you're parking at the allocated parking lot provides by hotel, they'd wake you up knocking the hell out of your door to ask you to remove your car if someone else would like to go out, they do have a staff to do these valet services but it's as hopeless as possible.
best location, easy access for POI
Spacious enough, next to tourist attractions (unc jonker street), nice and helpful staff, no elevator though...
The hotel was very nice. The staff was also very nice and helpful. It would be much better if the hotel provides breakfast.
Nothing extra ordinary about the place
nice hotel and nearby jonker street
All great but the pillow smell bad
Awesome. I will definitely be back.

This place is probably the most awful place which I have ever stayed in Melaka. IF you are planning to stay close to Jonker, stay at Wayfarer Guesthouse (It is 1000 times better than this place). This place is very badly managed, the rooms looks as dodgy as possible with no windows and the sound proofing to all these rooms are terrible that you can probably hear a toddler walk out of your room. Towels and amenities in this hotels are horrible and dirty! Staffs here are as hopeless, they so called have a car park with a 24hours valet driver but trust me this isnt true. The staffs came knocking on my room door as early as 7:30AM just because there was another car who wanted to remove their vehicle. Despite me saying that I was going to remove the car, they came knocking on my door 2 minutes right after (obviously i need to change to a proper clothes) Location is no doubt good but the entire place is not secured at all. Any passerby can walk in to this premise. A lot of improvements are needed.

Excellent location
Not for old pple unless room is at ground flr as there is no lift. We stayed on the 3rd flr. 2 flights of stairs to walk up. Our room is quiet, room is small but toilet is big. Paid sgd110 for 2 nites which i tink is reasonably cheap. Altho no view but location is excellent. Juz a min walk to the entrance of jonker st, nice walk by the river which is just infront of the hotel. We didnt drive so parking was not an issue for us. But i saw on their cctv they have a small parking area for guests somewhere near the hotel. Front desk was helpful when we needed help with the wifi signal. They have very weak wifi signal. Simple decent accommodation with excellent location for walking tourists.

Superb location with inferior amenities
Check in was smooth with friendly staff at the front of house. Lift was not available and i stayed on level 3 so we had to climb the steps which may be difficult for the elderly or guests with children or heavy luggage. Room and toilet were spacious and clean. The mosaic lamps were a nice touch to the room. The room door had no peephole so you are unable to see who is knocking at your door. Hotel needs to look into this as a safety precaution. Parking is available but limited to perhaps 3 cars maximum. Toothbrush, toothpaste and bedrooms slippers are not available so bring your own if you plan to stay here. Instant Coffee/Tea & 2 bottles of water are provided daily. The hotel's amenities really need urgent upgrading. The toilet taps were not working well and the water flow was inconsistent.Towels were provided but they did look very worn out. The toilet accessories like holders, mirror, water, shower head etc were all rusty. The basin was rather small so the floor got wet each time i washed my face. There was a bath tub in my room, however when i washed the tub before taking my shower it started to flood very badly as all the water that was supposed to go down the drainage leaked into the entire bathroom floor. The staff came and fixed it for that night. The next day the same problem occurred. For rooms with windows that faced the road, it can be quite noisy for light sleepers. The bright side of the stay was the excellent location. It is really just a few steps away from Jonker Street and opposite the hotel is the police station. Food, shopping and massage were readily available. H&M was just diagonally opposite. The rating would have fallen way below average if not for the location and price that we paid for. If the hotel can look into upgrading the amenities, it will make the stay more pleasant.

Great location BUT...
I had a one night stay at this hotel last weekend. As the title says, the location is GREAT. It is located at the center of attractions. Just a walking distance to Jonker walk, Hard ROck Cafe, all those historical attractions, menara taming sari, museums and so on. If you are not planning on driving around the Malacca town, through all those hectic traffics and almost nearly impossible parking, then I would strongly suggest this hotel. BUT, this hotel is not suitable for those travelling with elders, or small kids, or disables as they do not have elevator. The stairs are so steep and I guarantee that those are not the normal stairs that you would usually climb. Nothing great about the room, although I must admit that it was quite spacious. The bathroom was decent. If you're driving, the hotel do provide reserved parking but are very very limited. Overall, there are nothing great about this hotel rather than just the location.

Great Hotel with charming staff
Was my third time in this hotel and have booked the next trip already. Hotel rooms are nice and spacious, bathrooms ok, sometimes a problem with the running water... Staff is so nice and friendly, they offer you the genuinely charming service you expect form a small hotel. Came back for the second time and they still remembered me from 5 months back! Don't expect a well sound proof room, if you are on street side, its loud! Unfortunately the hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there is plenty of choice witin a few minutes walk... Location is great. Dead opposite the best pub in town, SIDS and within a minute from Jonckers Street. Prices are fair so you won't go wrong with this hotel!
