There are options to either drive a private car or take the public transportations. Taxis are plentiful but most of them would not be using the meter to calculate the fare. Just make sure to ask for the price before getting into one. If looking for a cheaper way to get to Inanam, and have plenty of time, take the ever-popular minibus. The minibuses are colour coded based on their destination. The ones that go to Inanam are those in blue. The fare is much cheaper compare to the taxis. The Inamam Bus Station Terminal is just five minutes away from the hotel. For those who are travelling from outside of Kota Kinabalu, flying in is the best way to get to town. Kota Kinabalu International Airport handles flights from Malaysia, especially those originating from East Malaysia, as flying is the easiest choice to travel to and from Kota Kinabalu. The airport also caters flights originating from several neighbouring countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines and China among others. The distance between the Kota Kinabalu International Airport to the Hotel Puri 36 is around fifteen kilometres and it will take about twenty minutes to reach.

Hotel Puri 36 has only three types of room at their hotel. These rooms are suitable for all types of guests; a single traveller up to a family. Its first room, the Queen room, is a room with 35-sqm of space and it has a Queen-sized bed. The room starts from RM 110 a night. The next one is the Twin room. It has the same spacious size as the Queen room but it has two Twin-sized beds in the place of the Queen-sized bed. The rate for the Twin room is from RM 113 a night. The Family room has a size of 30-sqm and it has a Queen-sized bed together with a Twin-sized bed. The room starts from RM 138 a night and it is perfect for a small family or a group of friends.

All of the rooms at the Hotel Puri 36 have the same basic in-room amenities such as a set of television together with satellite channels, a couple of complimentary bottled water and a writing desk with a chair.
