need to repair all piping.. toilet so bad
Arrive on 3:20pm but can check-in around 4:30pm. Not received any towel until make a complaint.
Smelly room. Old fashioned hotel type, may cater for old people only
Average hotel. food and location great but smelly and stinky bathroom. water heater not function well.
Need improvement. Waited for almost 20 minutes for check out and refund of payment deposit.
Only 1 person handled the front desk (Jamal). Since everybody knows checking in was at 3, everybody came at the same time. It was really chaotic but Jamal was courteous and friendly, smiling all along. We booked 5 rooms all together. All rooms are okay, facilities are awesome and the room I was in (Family room) had a modern touch in it. It was many years ago I visited HSM mersing and I can see the improvement. Breakfast spread was average but we enjoyed all of it.They do charge 4-5 years old but only rm5, so it is acceptable. Will definitely visit again.
Food was great, shower in the toilet was a bit low pressure, difficult to wash
Nice hotel but no WiFi in room
Everything is perfect. I will come again.
Food okey. The bed was okey. There is a swimming pool

Suitable for one night
Staff was friendly, but the property is quite old and not very well taken care of. Our room was so musty that I needed to use my inhaler (which I very rarely need), the tap water ran black/brown at first, and there was a general air of disuse/slight uncleanliness. There is also no wifi in the rooms. The breakfast was really delicious though, so I'm giving it 3 stars rather than 2. (Because food is more important than breathing, I guess.)

Place Needs Renovation. Pricy for the Standards delivered.
First impressions when we arrived at the carpark, to the reception, all the way to room, the place needs a renovation. We were greeted with a foul odour when we open our room on the 2nd floor. Toilet was tiny but ok. No complimentary toiletries and towels. Carpet was dirty and have a stale odour. We had to buy air freshener for the room during our 1 night stay. Breakfast was simple local food. Fried noodles, Nasi Lemak without fish/chicken, sausages, cereal, bread with butter/jam and local dish Lempeng. There's a beach at the back of the hotel. Walking distance and you need to cross a road. But there was some construction on the beach during our stay there. Lots of places to explore around the area and the town centre is close-by if you drive. No shopping malls here, only local stores. Swimming pool had a whitish layer at the bottom thus it was a no go for my kids. Overall, very pricy for the standards considering we had stayed in better places in Mersing area. Definitely not for fussy travellers.

Old hotel, basic amenities but good sleep for 1 night
This is an old hotel, and in need of renovation. We stayed here for just 1 night to take the ferry to Tioman, and was just fine for our purpose. We arrived late around 9 or 10 pm, and on request, the hotel staff helped us carry our luggage all the way to the rooms at the back and up the stairs. They also booked cabs to take us to the ferry terminal the next morning. Rooms were clean, sheets were fresh, the AC worked fine, and the toilets were small but usable. There are no restaurants or shops in the immediate vicinity (at least we didn't see any at the time we arrived). The hotel gave us a good dinner from a limited menu - room service was very quick. Breakfast was decent, more local options, but they were happy to make an omelette for my toddler when I requested.

Hotel need serious renovation
Wall plaster was broken in many places like stair, room celling. The hotel is self service. You have to carrey your luggage to upper floor in stair. No one will help and no elevator. Breakfast is very simple. We were staying for one night on our way to Mersing. So, did not bother too much.

Room condition
The room were Poorly maintained. Only thing decent was the breakfast. The hotel is a distance from Eatery so you have to walk quite a distance to nearest eatery. Walking back from town to hotel don't feel safe as the route is very quiet and we don't see taxi around.
