Upon checking in we were told the pool is under maintenance and might take up to 1 week time. We are a bit disappointed because the pool was our main reason to have a splash with our kid while staying there. Cut story short, the next day after breakfast we saw some people were using the pool while the maintenance signage still displayed. We thought those people were trespassing and we just ignored them. Upon check out we learned that the pool was open this morning and yet the management has no courtesy to let us know (maybe like a notice at the breakfast entrance). I was truly disappointed with the management and will lodge a complaint. Just if they have some heart at their work everyone will be happy.

Very nice location, just next to Taman Tasik Taiping. Very quiet place. Friendly staff. However as usual the room condition is very poor. Dusty, old fittings, dirty pillow sheet, moldy walls, unserviced aircond, dusty ac filter. Hotel Seri Malaysia need a huge upgrade in overall.

It was the worst holiday ever! The staff didn’t mention the swimming pool is under construction when I call them 2 weeks before I come. I ask them when they start doing cleaning and they said last week and I call them 2x before! the worst part is, all the customer come there just to let their kids enjoy at swimming pool. They don’t even mention it to the customer and just say sorry. They don’t provide extra pillow. I call for room service, they said it only avail after 7pm. Omg! Are you kidding me, this is the first and last time staying here. I even cancel the 2nd night because the hotel, service, staff is bad bad bad ever! How come the hotel decide to do pool cleaning on CNY??? Cmon, it’s public holiday and peeps will come to have fun and rest. What a worst service ever!

When arriving I was told that the confirmed booking through app were full but appreciate the initiative that they upgraded me to junior suite so I felt I was honored with that. Then after entering the room I was at the receiving end as you found out that the room smelled with dust and most probably not being used quite sometime. The next morning I was caught with flu and sore throat. Actually the room service should check the condition of the room before allowing for sales. Bad experience indeed.
