Guests enjoy all the essential in-room amenities, including air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with in-house movie channels, and complimentary WiFi. The private bathroom comes equipped with a shower and free toiletries. This room category offers excellent value for those who plan to spend most of their time exploring Taiping and simply need a restful place to sleep at night.

Superior Room

The Superior Room offers a step up in space and comfort compared to the Standard category. Featuring a choice of a queen-sized bed or twin beds, this room is well-suited for couples and pairs of friends travelling together. Why Stay at Hotel Taiping Perdana

Exceptional value for money.

Guests frequently remark that the hotel feels more like a four-star establishment, thanks to its well-maintained rooms, professional staff, and comprehensive amenities. Whether you wish to stroll through the Lake Gardens, visit the Perak Museum, or sample local hawker food, everything is conveniently close. This central location also makes the hotel ideal for business travellers who need to attend meetings or events in the Taiping area.

Impressive event and meeting facilities.

Few hotels in Taiping can match the scale of Hotel Taiping Perdana's event capabilities. The Perdana Ballroom, with capacity for up to 900 guests, and the multiple function rooms equipped with modern audio-visual technology make this a premier venue for weddings, conferences, and corporate gatherings in the Perak region.

Gateway to Taiping's heritage and nature.

Staying at Hotel Taiping Perdana places you at the doorstep of one of Malaysia's most historically significant and naturally beautiful towns. Tips for Booking Hotel Taiping Perdana

Book early for weekends and public holidays.

Taiping has grown significantly in popularity as a heritage tourism destination in recent years, and Hotel Taiping Perdana's central location and strong reputation mean that rooms can fill quickly during peak periods. If you are planning a visit over a Malaysian public holiday, school holiday, or long weekend, it is advisable to book well in advance through Traveloka to secure your preferred room type and the best available rate.

Consider weekday stays for better value.

Travellers with flexible schedules can often enjoy more competitive rates by booking midweek stays. Weekday bookings not only tend to be more affordable but also mean fewer crowds at Taiping's popular attractions, such as the Lake Gardens and Zoo Taiping, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Check for breakfast-inclusive packages.

When browsing rates on Traveloka, look out for room packages that include the daily buffet breakfast at Cafe Intan Suri. These inclusive deals often represent better overall value compared to booking the room and breakfast separately, and they save you the hassle of finding breakfast each morning.

Request a room with a view of Bukit Larut.

If scenic views are important to you, consider making a special request at check-in for a room that faces Bukit Larut. While room assignments are subject to availability, the front desk team at Hotel Taiping Perdana is generally accommodating and will do their best to fulfil reasonable requests. A view of the lush green slopes of Malaysia's oldest hill station can truly enhance your stay.

Take advantage of the free parking.

If you are driving to Taiping, the hotel's complimentary parking — including secure underground options — is a significant benefit that saves you the cost and inconvenience of finding paid parking in the town centre. This makes the hotel particularly convenient for road trippers exploring Perak or travelling between Penang and Ipoh along the PLUS highway. Be sure to confirm parking availability at the time of booking, especially if you are arriving during a busy period.

Lift, no lift from carpark. Have to drag and hand carry my big heavy luggage through those stairs. Well, if I'm smarter I would have dropped off my bag and go to d car park but I assumed d hotel should have lift from the carpark. It 's a deal breaker next time. Plus, when requested for second key crd they said unfortunately too overwhelm with lot of customers. How does tht hppd? Not enough cards to go around, can't accept it to be honest. No effort to help, don't bother either. Just one unsatisfied customer.

Honestly speaking this was my first time having a bad experience booking a room in a hotel. First, the room was so smelly. I'm not sure where it is from. Second, the room was not so clean and tidy. Third, the bathroom was not quite in good condition. I hope you can upgrade the housekeeping team maybe? Or the management itself. Thank you

Considering what is available by way of hotel accommodation in Taiping for a little bit higher price, Perdana is, frankly over rated by the reviews you see online. The next time I visit Taiping I will pay a little more and stay in another hotel. The conclusion I came to after staying in Perdana was this -"not all online reviews are published honestly by the raters. There definitely must be some tampering involved in publishing reviews. Let us see if this review of mine gets published".

The room is very big but there are some dirt. For me, still acceptable. The view from the balcony of the room is very beautiful. View Bukit Larut and Taiping Town. Parking is nice, breakfast is ok too.

Unclean condition, low water pressure and clogged basin, balcony door can't be locked, and room condition are quite old which are not similar with photos as shown at webiste.
