Taiping Lake Gardens - This is the first garden that is open to public and was established by the British rule in Malaysia. It is located near Bukit Larut. Previously this garden was a mining ground but in 1880 it was changes into a public garden. There are around 10 man-made ponds and lakes that are distributed throughout the garden. So here visitors may have a picnic while enjoying the view of the flora that is naturally grown. There is also a path where visitors may come and jog in the evening. There is no entrance fee here therefore anyone may come here and enjoy the view.
